I'm for it until the fetus gains brainwaves. Until then its a lump of cells.
A woman has God-given free will to do with her body as she pleases. She can choose to do what is right or she can choose to do what is wrong.
Abortion, regardless of the circumstances, is wrong. But understand that by defining it as wrong does not stop the fact that a woman can still choose to do with her body (have an abortion) as she pleases.
There are many times in life when one moral priority will take precedence over another. For example a mother is diagnosed that she will die if an abortion is not performed. Here you would be ending life to save a life. As you see by this example a moral wrong took place in order to uphold a moral priority - protect the known existing life.
If I had the tools I should have the choice.
WHY is it always wrong, though? I'm just curious. Keep in mind, I'm only for abortion when it doesn't have active brainwaves.A woman has God-given free will to do with her body as she pleases. She can choose to do what is right or she can choose to do what is wrong.

Now this is going to turn religious, because you know damn well that's where her set of moral values comes from. Then you're gonna complain about how you don't know why people accuse you of always turning things into a religious debate. And I'm gonna point to this post and say "That's why".WHY is it always wrong, though? I'm just curious. Keep in mind, I'm only for abortion when it doesn't have active brainwaves.
She doesn't have to. You asked for her to defend her opinion. Her opinions are rooted in religion. She shouldn't have to defend it from a viewpoint she doesn't share.Well actually, I'm curious if she can give me a non-religious reason why it is wrong.
I do not support it.
Being human is about growth and sustenance, in the most biologic sense.
Once conception occurs, it's human.
Thanks Donnie. I did however swap out the word 'religion' with 'relationship with God' as I am not a fan of religion. Men screw everything up - me included. But you are right - I shouldn't have to defend my opinion from a viewpoint I don't share and I won't - that would be absurd. She doesn't have to. You asked for her to defend her opinion.
