Posts, Threads, and Forums

• Spamming (including purposeful double/triple posting) is prohibited. Offenders will have their posts merged and a possible warning if continued spamming occurs.
• "Trolling", flaming, or disrupting the forum in any which way is not tolerated.
  
• Insulting, harassing, manipulating, or otherwise abusing other users will result in an infraction, possibly a ban depending on the issue at hand..
• Each section of the forum may have its own set of unique rules which you must follow for that specific category within the forum. Example, the debate section is a "Enter at your own risk" type thing.

User Accounts

• Users are not permitted to have multiple accounts. One (1) account per person. No exceptions.
• If your account has been banned or suspended (temporarily or permanently), you may not re-register another account.
• We do not allow shared accounts. Therefore, your account is non-transferable!
• If for some unknown reason you are unable to login or access your account, please try the "password recovery" process. If all else fails, contact us for more help.

Signatures, Avatars, and Usernames

• Signatures, avatars, and usernames Should not contain any inappropriate content.
• Usernames should not contain brand names, emails, or website addresses.
• Advertisements in your signatures are allowed but please use your common sense. Signatures with mass amounts of links and/or images will be removed.

Privacy

• All users have the right to privacy.
• Do not disclose personal information or details regarding any user under any circumstance.
• All content within conversations are private. Disclosing what was said in one in the public domain without all users consent may result in infractions.
• All users hereby acknowledge that all content on the internet, is forever on the internet. Therefor, do not put something up that you will regret later.

Off Topicz Staff

• We reserve the rights to remove, close, merge, hide, or modify any Content submitted for any reason without explanation.
• We reserve the right to take action against any account with the Service at any time. This may include the right to edit, moderate, alter, infract, warn, terminate, or suspend any user account as we deem fit.
• Requests for Content to be removed or modified will be undertaken only at our discretion.
• Requests for deletion of an account will be undertaken only at out discretion. Most cases, these requests will be denied!

Valued Contributors

• Although users may make suggestions, Valued contributors are ultimately chosen solely by the staff.
• Users must be an active user to stay within this group. 2 months of inactivity may result in being removed from the group.
• Valued Contributors must be "verified" users.
• The staff of OffTopicz may remove users from the Valued Contributor rank with out any prior notice and for any reason we deem fit.
• Valued Contributors still must follow the board rules. No special treatment will be given.

Premium Users

• Premium payments are taken as "donations". Therefore, refunds are not permitted at all.
• Any chargebacks or disputes will result in the removal of the group and possible ban.
• The staff of Off Topicz may remove users from the Premium User rank with out any prior notice and for any reason we deem fit.
• Premium Users still must follow the board rules. No special treatment will be given.

Tokenz

• Tokenz is are own virtual currency. It may not be traded or bought with real cash.
• The Tokenz system may not be abused. For Example: Going around liking every single post in all threads around the board to gain more Tokenz. These Tokenz will be taken, and further access to gaining Tokenz may be removed.

Reports

• You can report posts by pressing the "report" link found at the bottom of every post and thread.
• You may only click the report link if the posts is against our terms and rules, OR is in the wrong section of the forum. (E.G, There is a thread in the general discussion that would belong in the debate section).
• If there is a post that is insulting another member, only THAT member can report it. If it is not reported from that person, then NOTHING will be done about it.
• Only report a post or thread once! Abusing the report system will result in account limitations.

Legal

• Off Topicz is a privatly owned website. Therefor, your "right" to free speech is limited. We do not tolerate personal attacks or harassment. Anyone caught doing so, will be infracted if not banned.
• You do not have a "right" to be on this website. It is a privilege! That privilege can, and will be removed if necessary.
• We do not condone illegal content such as underage pornography, illegal warez, and or pirated software. Do not post, or link to any website that contains such content.
• The providers ("OffTopicz", "we", "us", "our") of the service provided by this web site ("Service") are not responsible for any user-generated content and accounts ("Content"). Content submitted express the views of their author only.
• You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your Content in connection with the Service. You retain copyright over the Content.

All spammers are treated as such. Any IP's, emails, usernames the spammer provides will be given to multiple StopForumSpam databases. This may make it very difficult for you to sign up on other websites in the future. I suggest not to spam on our website.
