Looking forward to the Japan card as well. Bader Vs Rampage should be a good brawl, and Edgar Vs Henderson will be a great fight too. I really think they screwed up when they booked this card though, the Japanese don't care about guys like Edgar and Henderson, they should have put Lesnar Vs Overeem on this card, the Japanese fans go nuts for fights like that.

I completely agree... especially given how many times Overeem has fought in Japan during his career. Lesnar is huge over there as well... but I guess they figure that the event will be successful regardless.

Sure it will be successful, Rampage Vs Bader and Hunt Vs Kongo are both great for this card, plus Akiyama Vs Shields.

Nelson at 205 is gonna be crazy if he pulls it off. I think he could be pretty dominant at that weight class.

So did anyone else watch the Tate/Rousey fight on Saturday night? I really didn't want to see Rousey win that fight.. I haven't been able to stand her since she "beat" D'Alelio and then got all uppity about the controversy that came from it.

The flaw in Tate's gameplan is that she came out way too aggressive. Granted, she nearly knocked Rousey out in that first flurry. Shes on tough chick... I can't think of anyone that could've held out that long in the armbar. Her shoulder and elbow were at grotesque angles by the time she finally tapped.

I really want to see Carano come back to the cage and fight Rousey at 145.

Gina needs to seriously step up her conditioning to compete with the current female contenders. I doubt you will see her back in the cage any time soon though. Considering the direction her career is going in, it wouldn't be smart to risk injury to her face.

Gina is not a serious fighter anymore, even if she was in good shape she wouldn't last a round with Rousey or Tate.

"Come on guys he was always this big he just starved himself to make 205!"

I lost all respect for Gilbert Melendez after his title fight with Josh Thompson on Saturday night. He barely escapes with a split decision (and I think Thompson got screwed, but that's another story), and then proceeds to say that it was because he couldn't get motivated to fight him because they've gone at it twice before. Seriously dude? The guy just took you to the limit, you barely escaped with your title intact, and you're talking trash like that?

I don't respect Melendez or anyone else in his camp for that matter, Thomson was DEFINITELY screwed and I hope they bring him to the UFC. Who you got in tomorrow's fights?

Stefan Struve vs. Lavar Johnson
Stipe Miočić vs. Shane del Rosario
Roy Nelson vs. Dave Herman
Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio Silva
Junior dos Santos (c) vs. Frank Mir

I'm gonna say Mir, because I think he can take him down... and if he does, then he'll submit him. But if dos Santos keeps the fight standing or gets a takedown of his own, he's got it. Either way, I don't see the fight going much past the first round to be honest.

I have to agree with all the picks except for Del Rosario, Stipe is a great up and coming HW with a great skillset.

I was just really damn impressed with del Rosario's last fight... but he's bound to have some rust on him because he hasn't fought in well over a year. Stipe is impressive as well, I enjoyed his fight against Beltran on the Facebook portion of the 136 card... but I think del Rosario will take it sometime in Round 2.

Well you called Stipe winning... dos Santos beating Mir wasn't a surprise, though I obviously thought that Mir could take it. In other news...

I thought Mir had a good chance too, JDS looked great though. Cain really made a statement last night, he definitely deserves the next title shot.
