Brock's shown his whole career that he doesn't take a punch well though, even back in the Couture fight, Brock was flinching away from Randy's short little punches, and Randy is not known to be a hard puncher, the Carwin fight could easily have been stopped IMO, nobody would have complained if it had been, if I remember right Brock actually turned his back and ran from Carwin's punches the same way he did against Cain.

I kinda felt Carwin was robbed myself... because if it was any other opponent in there the ref would have stopped it. But because Lesnar has a huge reputation, a big fan base and he's a big draw they seemed to give him a second chance in that fight it appeared. But like you said, no one would have argued the stoppage if it happened.

Yeah that's the thing about a fight like that, the fight easily could have been stopped in the 1st and it would have been fully justified, but it wasn't, and Lesnar came back and won in the 2nd, so the referee looks like a genius. But if Carwin hadn't gassed out and Lesnar had been brutally finished then people would be calling for the referee to lose his job, it's a difficult and dangerous call to make.

I actually rewatched Lesnar Vs Valasquez earlier today, and it was a hell of a beating, but it wasn't quite as bad as I remembered it being, I think Lesnar has a good chance of beating Overeem.

I finally got a chance to watch UFC 139... holy fuck @ Hendo/Shogun. That was probably the best fight I've seen... I can't figure out how Shogun stayed conscious in the 3rd, and then Hendo nearly went out in the 4th. Just freaking crazy. As far as Wanderlei/Lee goes, I agreed with Joe that it was a pretty bullshit stoppage, Lee was going for the single and was clearly still with it... hell, if that was the ref for the Hendo/Shogun fight, Shogun would've won it in the 4th I think. Faber/Bowles was a really fun fight, and pretty much went the way that I expected it to go; here's to hoping that he can beat Cruz this time around. I was hoping that we'd see more stand-up in the Bonnar/Kingsbury fight to be honest. If we count the prelims, my second favorite fight on the card (after Hendo/Shogun obviously) was McDonald/Soto... I think McDonald has a lot of potential, and he knockout was just absolutely sick.

Now I'm really looking forward to UFC 140... the top three fights look like they have a ton of potential with Jones/Machida, Mir/Nog II, and Ortiz/Little Nog.
