Have you tried the Couch to 5K program??? I got up to week 4 and then my schedule got thrown off. I need to start over. :(

Running for 2 mins and walking for 2 mins or however it works, really pisses me off :24: I just like to get on the treadmill and go for it. A few people I know did the program though and seemed to like it. I also have no where to run around here, I'd bump into everyone lol. Treadmill is why I gots a gym membership.

I still didn't make my goal this month. :( I've taken too many "rest" days. :(

April is going to be the month I start making my goal again, dammit!!!

I'll be doing the same except I may adjust the bench to the highest angle, and I may add some lower abdominal movements to help rid me of my "gunt".

Overall March was fantastic for me, thanks in no small part to this forum!! lols

I'm going to actually do some exercise this month! I've gotten terribly out of shape since living with Zorak and this month I am going to start changing that!!

No goal for me this month. Between Easter, going to Winnipeg the next weekend and then going again at the end of the month any goal I could meet would be embarressingly low. :ninja

^ Your goal is 3 hugs to strangers a day

My excuse is the weather. I was looking forward to some nice mild Spring days to start running, and we skipped Spring and jumped straight to 85 degree weather. I dont wanna run when its that hot.

I wouldn't run it, either!!! :24: I wanted to work my way up to a half-marathon, but I just can't make myself do it yet. One of my co-workers wants me to do Tough Mudder w/ her. She's fucking insane. I did the Warrior Dash just fine...but Tough Mudder is a whole 'nother ball game. Plus it's 10 - 12 miles vs. the 3.1 miles that Warrior Dash is. No thanks!!!

As of now I plan to volunteer at Tough Mudder in northern KY and pistol-whip Jen if she doesn't come out to see me. I plan to run the Warrior Dash in Nashville in September but no way I am running the Mudder.

Very pleased with myself today. I walked quickly for 60minutes (down town and back, I didn't count the time I was in the store). The return journey was up hill but I really pushed myself to keep walking fast and in the end managed to get up the hill faster than I got down it!

I have this issue with doing crunches horribly and never feeling soreness in my abs- I always strain my neck and chest no matter how hard I try to focus on my core and do different moves (legs up crunches, etc)...but yesterday I did butt exercises and BOY do I feel them :D

I like when that happens

Now if only I could master the simple art of ab work...

Have you tried adding a weighted ball??? 2 pounds doesn't sound like much, but it makes a HUGE difference. If you have a problem w/ doing crunches laying down, try finding some twists you can do while standing. In order to whittle the waist down, twists are the best thing anyway. ;)

I have an 8lb ball I use. I'll kinda sit half up and twist, or use my 10lb kettle bell and do those wood chop moves...I also have a big medicine ball and sit on it to do the twists, for some reason I just fail at core exercises :24:

My chest and neck are extremely weak and easily injured. I think if I strengthened them I might be able to move past this problem.

Really I'd love to pay for a personal trainer just a couple times, but I don't have the money. One day!

I am doing crap so far. Days off have not been spent exercising, stupid gym refurb started early and I now have the cold. I am currently looking into other gyms near me instead of trekking to the airport.

Oh and it's peeing down with rain, so even if I wanted to go a walk with puppy and mumsie today, I won't in the rain since I am already choked.
