Yeah buddy... just 25 sit ups short of my goal. I can bang them out tonight. I can actually see results.
My 2 pack has become a 5 pack. ;)

Woo well done! I'm gonna up my minutes in April and sign up for a 10k for cancer research which I can walk, jog or run so no pressure but gives me something to work towards.

So anyone that uses a treadmill: what pace to you usually walk/jog/run?

I know it's a preference thing and how in shape the individual is, but I was just wondering where I fit in the range.

I'm a total penguin. :24: If I'm walking it's anywhere between 3.2 and 3.6 mph. If I'm "jogging" it's usually about 4.5 mph.

Be prepared to convert mph to kmh
and also pace - km per min/miles per min

However seeing as how i know where you live ;), my easy run is 10 kmh
(speed) and harder workouts/shorter periods range from 11.5 to 12 kmh

fuck tasha, I can't stand to walk that pace. I think ours are kph but not sure since our distance is in km. I walk 6.0, jog 7.5-8 and run 9-10.

If that pace is walking you're about on par with Natasha on the walking rate, so not that slow after all.:p Right...did I do my coversion right? I suck at that shit

I warm up between 3.6 and 4 for a min or 2, depends how awake I am, then alternate walking and jogging. Walk pace is 4.5 or so and jog is 5.5 or so. I read it should be up to 6 at least to really see any benefit.

Yeah i converted, Tasha walks around 5kph and jogging is 7.2kph.

So, see, you're doing better than me. ;) I have TRIED to like running/jogging...everybody tells me it's addictive. Everybody lies, IJS :24:

I did a 5K every month last year...I think my lowest time was like 48 minutes.

I wouldn't run it, either!!! :24: I wanted to work my way up to a half-marathon, but I just can't make myself do it yet. One of my co-workers wants me to do Tough Mudder w/ her. She's fucking insane. I did the Warrior Dash just fine...but Tough Mudder is a whole 'nother ball game. Plus it's 10 - 12 miles vs. the 3.1 miles that Warrior Dash is. No thanks!!!

Im gonna train like I'm gonna jog it but I cant jog off the treadmill. I go like 5 steps and then fuck it ill walk now. I just cant for some reason get in the mindset. I used to jog with my dad, he kept me going. Just cant do it alone.

Have you tried the Couch to 5K program??? I got up to week 4 and then my schedule got thrown off. I need to start over. :(

That looks like a really good program...I did something similar and it was really helpful, I ran 5K 4 days a week for quite a while...now I couldn't run the length of myself.
