Example....Bob goes up and smacks larry...larry cant kill em or try to seriously injure him.
The fact that Zimmerman was screaming for help shows he wanted the fight to end...so he essentially quit at that point {even if he did start it}

What if GZ charged at Martin and tackled him on the grass like a football player. Then they engaged in a fight on the ground. GZ would have been th aggressor, but Martin would not have a scratch on him. During that struggle, Martin sees the gun and is suddenly in fear for his own life, so he escalates his aggressive moves in attempt to subdue GZ at any cost.

What then?
