They know deep down sometimes an abortion is justified, even in light of their moral beliefs. I would assume anti-choice people who make exceptions for rape abortions could feel guilty about their strict views enough to say "Ok, ya, if you're raped, we won't make you birth THAT baby. Um. Everyone else has to though!"

Then they are hypocrites. They don't give a shit about the woman unless she is raped. In that case then they don't give a shit about the fetus.

It blows any of their line of thinking out of the water since they always rail about protecting the unprotected. A fetus has no idea how it got started.

True. I think pro-life is really about punishing women for having sex. If they cared about life then they would promote condoms and HPV vaccines and oppose war.

Many pro-lifers think it is okay for a woman to abort a fetus if her own life is in serious danger. Here's a hypothetical question. Suppose a mother is hiding with her baby from a psychopath. She doesn't doubt his intention and ability to kill her and possibly even the baby if he finds them. The baby begins to cry. Is she justified to smother and kill her baby to save herself? Would it make a difference if the baby's father had raped her? Are a fetus and a baby really the same thing? I think not.

A lot of conservative *Christian* pro-life men are total misogynists. And it's all about loving the foetus and not really giving a flying fuck about the BABY. How much of this makes sense:

1. Forcing women to keep a foetus, birth it, and raise it. However, there shouldn't be ANY of those bastardly social programs in place to HELP the woman and her baby AFTER it's born... WE forced her to have the baby - now it's HER fucking problem...

2. Crime is up because of a poorer, uneducated populace (all those unwanted babies?? They grow up, believe it or not). Let's call for stiffer sentences!!! Death penalty??? You BETCHA!! Love the foetus, but not the actual PERSON.

3. Wars??? No problem!! We Americans simply LOVE us some war!! Hey!! Here's an idea!! Let's use all those poor, unwanted, angry, hating individuals that are a burden on our society (they were CELEBRATED when they were nothing more than a foetus - but now that they're here, they are EXPENDABLE) to fight in our wars!!! Wow, what a solution!! Because it is so much better to let someone take a bullet or an IED FOR America - as opposed to getting scraped out of a uterus at 11 weeks.

4. Can a man carry and birth a baby?? No?? Are you sure?? Really really really sure??? Okay. I'm just checking because I keep on wondering why a swinging dick man should be able to make laws and decisions in regards to women and their reproductive health. So many men are fucking "pro-life" - and what's ironic about it??? A lot of these men have left their wives, children, families to fuck around, marry a mistress, go on the down-low, or do other acts that may be deemed immoral... but yet, they are the ones deciding the morality of others??

I do get a sense of satisfaction by women not being able to get an abortion when they want one. For several reasons in fact like I love knowing they're pissed off that they cannot get back what they once had because they were careless now have to grow up. I hate spoiled ass teenage whores. And condoms and birth control are wonderful, why in the hell is there a reason to accidentally have a child if you're not raped? Second, abortions CAN be controlled as war is much more difficult to control. I vote and would love America's military to come home. All of them. The only 'demonstration' in my area are a bunch of idiots in downtown Dallas talking about corporate bullshit.

The hypothetical question is relevant and it's not a pre-meditated action. It's not even on the same level of urgency than a planned-abortion is.
