I say sometimes abortion is the better option...
For the record, I am a Christian... however, I do not consider myself to be religious by any stretch of the imagination. I'm also a Libertarian, so I am most decidedly not "right wing".
I am pro-choice but personally, I wouldn't have an abortion becuase I couldn't bring myself to do it..
I think it should be up to the couple to decide whether or not they can have a child or should. However, I think ultimately the woman should have the final say. She's the one who is pregnant and who will bring the child to term and while I have no doubt that fathers feel something for their unborn child, I do think it is different for a mother who has the child in her.
I, personally, don't agree with women who use abortion as a form of birth control. Shut your legs or use protection but at the end of the day, I'd rather they had an abortion than raised a child they don't want and where the child suffers for it. Sometimes it is the best of two evils.
Well I know that I would feel a lot more for any child of mine than a lot of mothers I see around. I remember the first time my missus miscarried. We were up the hospital in the maternaty unit and there was some pregnant young girl, two kids hanging off her who she told to "fuck off" every 5 minutes and outside smoking at every opportunity. It really pissed me off that someone could be like that.
That's a pretty ridiculous comment. People who don't own guns can't have opinions on the 2nd Amendment? People who have never been in the military can't have an opinion on the wars? Of course they can, there's no prerequisite for having an opinion on something, whether it effects you or not.I don't have a uterus, so I don't have the right to an opinion. It's like if I held a firm stance on cornrows or afros. Not my game.
abortion is stupid. it's your body, right? you say? then take responsibility for your body. it's your life and noone can tell u what to do? DONT BE A HYPOCRITE. account for the same with the life you're trying to fuck with. debate that.

Your wife was raped at knife point while you worked a few extra hours at work. She gets pregnant.
Do you tell her to shut the fuck up and not be a hypocrite? To account for the same with the life you're trying to fuck with?
Debate that.
You see to me, that would entirely be up to the woman. Yes her choice would effect her husband, but she already has to live with what happened, she didn't ask for it.....it's totally up to her.
I'm pro-choice but anti-abortion![]()
Actually it should be decided as a couple since they are married. Yes, it is ultimately "her" choice, but as a married couple, they should both be part of the conversation/decision.
I am pro-life, but this is honestly one of the weakest possible arguments for a pro-choice person to take. The fact of the matter is that situation is EXTREMELY unlikely. The number of pregnancies as a result of rape in cases of abortion is very, very low. I feel that if someone was raped, that it is a little more respectable to choose abortion. It becomes even less of an effective argument if you believe in the morning after pill, in which case it offers a chance to prevent the likelyhood of having a child even more.Your wife was raped at knife point while you worked a few extra hours at work. Keywords are located there. I honestly feel that its somehow more respectable to take a morning after pill than waiting, but I cannot say I approve of either. Pro-life certainly is a powerful phrase, but it is one that also fits its claim. Why would you not take a strong, aggressive approach to an important debate?if you believe in the morning after pill.
