Me having mercy and allowing an intruder to go after he begs for the law to not get involved makes me the jerk.
Should I have ignored the pleas? I did the little punk a favor..He would have been getting fucked in the joint.
It also was not the first burglary...had been burglarized twice before at that location.{house locked}Police were useless..sure they took reports but that was it....unless they see someone what are they going to do?..If they saw someone then I wouldnt be getting burglarized now would I.....Pretty much the same boat the old man was in
Additionally you may want to look over that list of items that were taken during prior burglaries.
Stealing property is one thing.
Stealing my birth certificate and phone numbers to individuals pisses me off....Additionally
The unclothed pictures were meant for me and only me I expect you and half a nation jacked off to her during the era ....but you know what she always had her clothes on...Letting me take pictures was an absolute show of trust on her part....for them to come up missing is a big let down.....As well as the possibility of ruining a career as the public image would be destroyed....I let down no one rob
I couldnt mention the pictures to the authorities ....wouldnt be private anymore now would it rob...News flash "Provocative pictures of blank blank stolen during a burglary in the area"....No thanks.

Where I am now is a little paradise...burglary isnt even a consideration...house never gets locked..keys are in the vehicles outside as well as inside the garage...garage is open.,,,people return lost wallets, cellphones etc....We have some criminals yes{very few} but more of the petty variety....and an occasional homicide.

I dont care iof you let him go TM, I think that making him drink dirty dish water, and unlawfully detaining him for three hours while torturing him and making him beg for his life, while never intending to call the proper authorities was what was reprehensible. If you wanted to let him go and not press charges thats on you...

My original intent was pressing charges...thus his begging and pleading for me to not call them."I will do anything please dont call"
And it was dishwater not bath water...I am not a monster

I changed my statement about the dish water, and regardless of you reasoning and rationalization, the act of torture and illegal detainment is wrong...there is no justification for it!

Thus why I dont torture or illegally detain...he had choices he chose what he thought was best for him

When I lived at a prior residence I was getting ripped off due to my location...the law was of no use.
I caught the little dick in my house and terrorized his punk ass for about three hours..from drinking dirty dish water to begging for his life...does this make me a criminal?.{not by law standard but by moral standard}
Not IMO..many of the items cant be replaced...stuff that was handed down through the family....as well as...
Autographs, promotional albums not available to the public, pictures of myself with various actors and actresses.
Phone records,Phone books with numbers in the back with personal phone numbers to the Attorney General, member of the house of representatives, prominent bands, some actors and actresses,comedians...hell even my birth certificate.
But what really pissed me off was some private photos of an individual whose career could be thoroughly damaged if made public.
If I had it to do all over again I would smash his fucking head and scatter his brain matter for insect feed

None of this sounds voluntary to me....

Yes voluntary...as he didnt want me to make that call...he feared for his life in prison

You are not a stupid person...i have read some of your posts... If you had called the authorities and then refused to press charges he would have been let go...
instead for your own perversion you tortured him physically(making him drink dirty dish water) and then mentally (making him beg for his life for 3 hours). You can attempt to justify and rationalize all you want...what you did was wrong!

Why would I do that?

But would it have been ok if someone shot the gunman while he was victimizing granny

You've really got no clue, have you?

We're not that cowardly here, thanks. If a 71 year old woman and an unarmed security guard can see off an armed robbery attempt, it looks kinda bad for the silly old coot who waits to execute the first intruder that he sees. We're New Zealanders.Hiding behind guns is kinda frowned on here.

And for the record, I think your fairy tale about dishwater and begging for mercy is a crock from start to finish.

So the safety of the granny is of no concern...Thats all I wanted to know
Here if some gunman's came in and had an ole lady on the ground screaming for her life...There would be no problem with the gunmen getting capped.
I guess NZ and America are nothing alike..Here we defend the elderly rather than force her to defend herself

you left a 92 year old vet thinking that his only option was to defend himself.

...........................silence?

When I use your 'logic' in the original context of the thread, you run away?

Surely if you just waved a gun around, that would solve everything.....:24:
