I mostly read for the pleasure, never really understood why people see reading as a chore either. I'm concidered weird very often for enjoying the books I'm currently reading. I use audiobooks to escape the world. Whenever I turn on an audiobook that's well read, with a nice, soothing voice, my problems just seem to melt away instantly. It's comparable to putting on really good music, but it works so well for me!

I started reading as a way to pass time, when I was a child we didn't have internet connected devices. Later I started enjoying books and I read for pleasure. These days I read to build knowledge,

I read books to learn, escape, and reflect. They help me explore new perspectives, unwind after a long day, and grow emotionally and intellectually. Whether it’s fiction or nonfiction, reading keeps my mind curious and inspired.

Well it depends on the kinds of books. I read educational books to gain more knowledge and pass a course and then i read novels for pleasure.

Originally, I started out reading as a way to keep entertained (as a child). Now I not only read to keep entertained but also it's a stress reliever. It helps me to wind down after a long day because it helps me to get my mind off of what has happened that day.
