How much time did you spend in Moscow? Where did you live exactly? I bet you lived closely to Moscow center but not in suburb.

BTW what about hetero rights?

And let me ask you what is wrong with me? I can state my opinion free so I tell you - if they don't show off their feelings then it is OK.

==> To be clear I dont have anything against gay people. I respect them for who they are. They are people like us who have feelings. All am trying to present is the fact that for me especially as a parent, i cant neglect that i have to educate my son about statistics on homosexuality and what happens in the society etc. I have friends who are homosexuals and as i have mentioned in a post b4, they are actually very loving and caring people.

Straight people are equally capable of being promiscuous.

Plenty of straight people engage in sadomasochism too. It's not a homosexual thing, it's just a thing

I am aware of that.

What percentage of sexual abuse crimes is this though? Saying 30,000 looks like a bad number, what's the number for straight people? Is it the same? Double? Triple?

It doesn't show.....You can search up stats from online too for any city including yours if you want more info......

as quoted from this site:

http://debatewise.org/debates/2255-...be-considered-grounds-for-asylum/points/10512

Aside the illegality of their sexual orientations in countries that do not recognize them, report shows that homosexuals also commit grave crimes. A Chief Magistrate of the New York City Criminal Court, Judge John Martaugh said, "Homosexuals account for half the murders in large cities" and again Captain William Riddle of the Los Angeles Police says, "30,000 sexually abused children in Los Angeles were victims of homosexuals".

I don't know where you got these 'facts' from but they seem a little biased towards making out that gay people are terrible sexual deviants. There are plenty of straight deviants but no one seems bothered about condemning heterosexuals.

I am not stating the facts to show bias against gay people. They are existent facts to refute what was quoted and answer a post. If you read my post in it's entirety and not just quote what you wanted to question to make a point, i mentioned that this is "not all the same for gays" and FYI: I voted: I dont care just like you did.

As with the info/facts stated from the State hospital that i used to work at and you know for a fact that i used to work there hence i can back up that info- how come you didnt question that and only post to pick and choose what you wanted pointed out?? Is that a fair debate/discussion? :ninja

So would you have a problem with me mentioning my wife in a conversation? I mean because it comes up quite frequently since she is a huge part of my life.
And every time I mention my wife, I'm telling you that I am straight.
Or would it only bother you if a guy mentioned his boyfriend/husband like the rest of us "straight" people do, because he is telling you that he is gay?

I mean how many times did someone just blurt out "I'm gay" in your presence? Or is it more the fact that they are talking about their personal life in such a way that to avoid confusion they preface it by stating their orientation? I know my fair share of homosexuals and I just can't remember the last time I heard one of them running around yelling "I'M GAY!"

Maybe it's just a fact that you are so use to hearing about us "straight" people that you don't even hear it anymore, but if anything is said regarding homosexuality, it stands out to you... maybe?

It's kind of similar to thinking about your wife during the day, it happens all the time. But the one time you think about her and she calls you at that moment, you think it's a psychic connection. You just fail to realize that it only stands out in your mind because you think of her so much that you seem to forget all the other times where you were thinking about her and the phone never rang...

Something to think about.

You like most people can have a conversation without re-affirming your sexual orientation every few minutes. That was my point. If someone casually mentions their significant other (PC Term) then that is one thing but bringing up your sexual preference constantly seems to give the impression that said orientation defines you.

Generally I find these threads refreshing, despite some of the things said, because it looks like hatred is being pushed to the minority pretty intensely, which is a good sign imo. Most people seem to not have a strong opinion against others.

Come on. In Europe, USA, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Great Britain and even in Moscow they have. Who cares about other countries?

NO. it shouldnt, its in the debate section
the answer to everything isn't close it down, thats near to or the equivalent of censorship, she opened her mind to her ideals and now she should have to see other peoples perspectives.
no one is bashing anyone, well except for maybe the gay bashers in their mind

As far as i remember - my opinion is I don't care if they don't show off their feelings in the public places, plus it is not normal when kids see licking women (men) in the street because it goes against human nature. Is not it enough for you?

You mean kissing or literally like face licking?
Homosexuality occurs in nature, it's not against nature.
