This isn't really getting anywhere so I'll leave it at that but you've still failed to convince me that USA involvement in Vietnam made any major impact in halting Communism though. I think Communism was brought down more by itself than anything non communist nations did.

It didn't halt communism. It stopped it from spreading in that region though. My point was that it did stop the spread.

I said region. Yes, unfortunately for our US casualties, it should have been another case of letting them just kill each other in the first place. 2 years after we left, the North over-took the south. Oh well.

Also, why is it so hard for people to understand that the media reports things inaccurately all the time? They distort the truth to get ratings.

Also, no where did it say the US won the war. It said we agreed to pull troops because we were at a stalemate. I'm 100% sure that if the politicians would have let the military fight our kind of War, this war would have been over in less than a year.

is a breath of fresh air that someone took the time to actually look at the details and not just follow the "opinion" of the populace in such an important matter.

again, its a random website that just lists numbers with no actual sources to where they came from. I could do that too.

I'm not saying they are wrong. The could be absolutely right, but if you don't have evidence to back them up...

What evidence would make you happy? A petition signed by all the servicemen? Even you must know that statistics quoted are somewhat flawed. Its always acceptable to take a sampling to be known as the many in these instances. Did you not take statistics in college?

All stats are flawed....I happen to know that these stats are not FAKE. Alot of people like to feel sorry for Marines and Soldiers. These people can get fucked. We are fine. The media likes to report on things that shock the people. If It didnt shock the people then it wouldnt get watched. Sounds like you are disputing these facts. The person that posted these facts posted references...where are yers?

That would be a start.

I did in fact take statistics in college and it just made me even more skeptical of statistics as a whole. Sample groups are incredibly flawed.
