Re: Best Star Trek Baddie

Noonien singh.....didn't he or his son invent data?

Ah, that's what you meant.

I think his name is Soong. Noonian Soong maybe? Something like that. I don't know if he is related to Khan.

I've been keeping an eye on the entire TNG series on DVD on eBay, I'm trying to get it for under $125. :p

Data was never my favorite character. I always figured androids would be less android-ish in the 24th century. He was annoying, and a liability.

Remember when he took control of the Enterprise, and disconnected the saucer? Crazy motherfucker!

Some of the script meant he went over the top with stats/jokes...albeit I could understand the stats being that he was in effect a "computer with arms and legs"

Yeah, something like that.

I didn't mind Geordi either, I thought LeVar Burton was a decent actor. I always enjoyed Worf, and pretty much any episode involving Klingons.

Would you take Klingon battle training classes if somone trained people in it?

Man, I miss watching TNG now. I used to watch it after midnight on ABC, I think it was, when I was doing night security for the farm in Kentucky.

When I was a kid it came on everyday at 5 on Fox. I watched Batman the Animated Series, and then TNG. :D

Q was a cross dresser....some his episodes were ok ...but I think the sulaban (sp) are more believable

For sure. What was that big sword like thing called? A Bathleth (sp)? Those things kick ass. :D

It reminds me of chingachgooks weapon in the last of the mohicans movie....except its doubled and metal and Sharp

Re: Best Star Trek Baddie

I wouldn't consider Q to be a true 'baddie' - not like the Borg who get my vote.

Of course, as Picard said in Q Who (a *brilliant* introduction to the Borg) - Q had effectively done the Federation a favour by introducing them to the Borg.

I also reckon we never saw how badass the Borg could truly be. They were badass but imagine if they had all the abilities of Hugh - without the individualism.

Yeah, for all that Q was a pest I never really thought of him as an actual bad guy. He was too much fun.

Borg for me too I think. They were the ones that just kept popping up, striking fear into people as soon as they were mentioned.

:shesaid

Q was always a nuisance more than anything in my mind as well. He reminded me of the Greek God Hermes, Hermes was well known for being a prankster to mortals, and gods. Q had the power to really do some damage, I think he just enjoyed the mental game of Chess he was constantly playing with Captain Picard.
