Who is your favorite Captain?
This is a bit of a toss up. I really did like Pickard in TNG, but Kahn... you have to respect!

Vulcans

Favourite Federations Starship

I dont know the name of it... but the small ship Spock flew in the abrams movie.

Favourite non Federation Ship

Again i am horrid with names. But i loved the one commanded by the young clone of pickard.

Romulan Warbird - D'deridex class.

Did you like the JJ Abrams Star Trek movie?

Yes and No. Loved the movie... naustalgia forces me not to say yes emphatically though.

Jean Luc Picard. He always tried to handle situations with diplomacy, but he wasn't afraid to engage in battle either.

Klingons, they are warriors, and honorable.

Yes, he did an amazing job casting that movie. I love it!

Shinzon! That reminds me of how much I liked that movie. Loved it in fact when I daresay most people hated it. I would high five you for the ship class but Shinzon's ship was a special one and not the D'deridex unfortunately. Acknowledged though - bad on names

I picked it not because it had the most fire-power or manoeuvrability - just that to me the D'deridex looks damn cool and made the Romulans look pretty intimidating when it decloaks in front of the Enterprise :nod:

I agree, those Warbirds look awesome when they de-cloak.

I love on the episode "The Defector" at the end that Commander Tomalok (sp) de-cloaks his warbird with another one, and they are threatening to blow up the Enterprise. He gives Captain Picard an ultimatum, surrender, or be destroyed. He says "I give you 30 seconds to decide" and he says "I won't take a moment more, Mr. Worf?"

and then three Klingon warships de-cloak around the warbirds, THAT was bad ass.

I cannot deny, that was a class moment. No shame in retreat. Were the positions reversed, I think the Klingons would have gone for honourable death though eh.
