Indeed, but seriously....why bring the abuse to our attention and then deny his culture has a problem with abusing women?
I found the searches I did on the subject of Muslim abuse of women and it's social acceptance so disturbing I had to stop.
What's bizarre is that their own religion does not seem to support this cultural trait. If religion is the teacher of morality, why has so much of Islam strayed?


Anyway.
From a debate standpoint, this thread makes little sense of the topic, the abuse of those princesses ( grown women, by the way ).
I haven't seen even a single response from mazHur that explains this Muslim character flaw other than a 'we're better than you are' argument.

Why bother bringing it up if it can't be defended??

I havent been in on but it does not look near as comfortable as a bike with bars that come back closer to the body and elevated for all day riding.
Also a huge single cylinder 4 stroke is best suited for plonking around off road as it should have gobs of low end torque

Some guys I know like the cruiser style.
For touring, I used to tour quite a bit, I preferred a straight situp position like the old UJM concept with a fairing.
Most of my riding now is half day jaunts on country back roads and a touring rig a bit too unwieldy and a sport bike a bit too uncomfortable after an hour or so.

The big draw for me with the KTM is maneuverability with little effort and a situp straight riding position.

My DL1000 feels a bit heavy off the turnpike and the front wheel tends to push when cornering on gravel roads....not many smiles there
My Bandit 1200S is a lot of fun, but it's purely a pavement sport bike.
I brought my old DR350s out of retirement last year and have gone a lot of places I wouldn't have enjoyed on the others, but it's old, thrashed from off road riding and not big enough for my wife to ride on the back.

This is why I'm looking to add the KTM.

There is an enduro and supermoto version of this KTM, also. Often listed as euro models, but a local dealer claims he has access to them.
Buddy of mine is considering the enduro version.
But I favor the Duke. Seat height and bar placement looks good for me. I'm 6'2 and don't need pullback bars.
I did, however, use a 2" bar riser on my Bandit that made afternoon rides more comfortable.


It's raining right now.
I just need a decent day and some free time to go do a test ride.

Just need some good weather to get out there and ride the Ohio valley after such a long and cold winter. Brrrrr!

Bikes have become too specialized into categories so much that there isn't as much crossover in usage as there used to be back in the 70's and 80's.

I had a 1981 Honda 750 F that was probably the most all around bike I've owned.
Not for trails, for sure, but the powerband was just soft enough to ride gravel roads well yet enough power to push a Windjammer fairing easily at 70mph on an interstate.
I put the most mileage on it of all those I've owned, selling it at 73K running just as well as when I bought it new.
I rode that bike up to Fox Alaska and back without any incidents. Heck of a good machine.

I think you are confused......it's you that initiated a comparison of morality with out ever explaining your culture's proclivity of violence toward women.
From what I have read, your scriptures do not support your culture's savegry of women and you only keep diverting the conversation to the faults of my culture.
