....................From Religion
An absolutely brilliant, powerful presentation that both believers and non believers will enjoy.

It's amazing isnt' it, and through scientific eyes, we get to enjoy it........but science didn't create it, it only uncovered it. Imagine being the creator of such brilliance, yet such simplicity wrapped up into one complex universe.....wow! True, the bible speaks to us of a physical hell that most people don't believe is real, but scientists also tried to convince us at one point that the earth was flat....lol
The great minds behind some of the greatest discoveries of this universe were created by God.....let us not forget that. He's given us so much, hasn't He?
Great post!
You speak as if projecting fact, a thinking, loving creator who has a personal relationship with each of us. The problem as with most strong theists is that you assume one heck of a lot, about what has been given as a gift to us by a deity who loves us dearly. It makes you feel good and that's fine except when it's presented as some kind of truth in a forum discussion. My contrary view is that while these feeling could be true, (because they can't be disproven) based on my experiences and what we know (which is nothing) they act mostly as psychological comfort food to provide reassurance and a buffer against the unknown and inevitability of physical death, regardless of the truth or any actual projected love. Making up stuff in one's mind to feel comforted is a trait of human psychology through the ages. We've been in this discussion before, but everyone like repeating themselves especially when it comes to the All Mighty.
I admit to have a feeling of well being, but the only difference between me and you (my opinion) is that I don't know what the source of these feelings are but you are sure. You have no corner on the odds of being right.
