I used to argue with fundamentalists over their rights to impose their dogma and here I am debating a weasel ( weak insult, sorry about that ) about the right to have faith with out imposing empirical data.

Nope - just calling it like I see it. When I was a Baptist Taliban member, I thought the Catholic Church was the spawn of Satan according to our ministers. Now I find them all amusing.

We should say something about atheists being riddled with paedophiles, John. OK, atheists don't express anything about contraception, but hey that is why you were conceived I guess

Also, the church isn't "riddled" with pedos, just the odd one or two priests, hardly what anyone would called riddled even atheists like Richard Dawkins wouldn't call that being riddled. Yeah, probably they didn't deal with the priests who were abusing kids in what we the general public would call the proper manner, but y'know, every organisations deals with things in their own way. Admittedly, I wished the church had gone to the authorities rather than send the priests to other dioceses, but that doesn't mean it is riddled. Blimey, you are trying hard to anger me :24:

I far from an enabler. I really don't like people let alone priests committing abuse on children.
