I like how Sky Sports tried to use a dead rubber match to show Shakhtar beat Barcelona to try and show that they have a chance. There's a few things wrong here, as I said it was a match at the end of the group stage when Barca had already won the group and the lineup that night was

Jorquera
Sanchez
Pique
Caceres
Sylvinho
Vazquez
Keita
Sergi B
Pedro
Hleb
Bojan

At the time only really Hleb, Keita and Pique were regular first teamers. And Barca also played Real Madird 3 days later in La Liga. Plus earlier in the group Barca beat Shakhtar in the Ukraine. Best possible draw for Barca, guaranteed victory.

Tough draw for Spurs if I'm honest but if they can handle BOTH Milan teams, then I've got faith they can handle Real Madrid but Barcelona....

Dani scored a thunderbolt for Barcelona against Getafe, 1-0 at the break Should have had at least two penalties when Villa went over, the ref even had the front to book him for diving, estúpid fill de puta. Nice moment in the 22nd minute when the whole ground applauded for Abidal (he wears number 22), that was classy.

Ended 2-1 to Barca, bit of a struggle at the end where Getafe scorred with like 3 minutes left and could have snatched a draw. Bojan scored the second with a deflected effort in the 50th minute. There's a couple of concerns, David Villa needs a goal because his form has not been good lately and also Puyol is missed.

Atletico vs Real next.

I call 0-0 on this one.

Neither team have a lot of quality and struggle to score goals, expect wales to play with 11 men behind the ball also

England starting 11

Hart
Johnson
Terry
Dawson
Cole
Parker
Lampard
Wilshere
Rooney
Bent
Young

Looks like a 4-3-2-1 formation, maybe 4-3-3 when pushing on. Seems to a bit of a lack of width given Rooney won't stay out on the wing and Young likes to cut in. The midfield 3 should be fine as Lampard and Wilshere can push further on with Parker there holding. But it's better than the very outdated 4-4-2 England have used for years with minimal success.

Yeah 4-3-3 was a very good idea, allowed Parker to play that holding role. He was excellent. Wilshere looked good, there's a few positives to take from this game, while not really learning a lot. In even better news Wayne Rooney has been released from the England squad for the friendly on Tuesday so he'll be nice and fresh for next Saturday, Fabio has said he'll play a completely different 11 on Tuesday.

So did I!

Maybe we can be co-managers.

4-3-3 is the best formation these days for me, all the top clubs play it and it's successful.
