It's ok Rob, in his pathetic attempt to correct my grammar he is only firming my belief that the public school system is failing our youth. Instead of providing society with bright young people, it is instead providing society with a bunch of Mooks that would rather spend their hours playing XBox and surfing porn than studying and doing homework like they should. Yes, the future looks bleak indeed.

Are you claiming that is what I do? How old are you, like 49?

The end? You're grammar is as fined-tuned as a Neanderthal's; not only in the rhetorical sense, but in the subjective since as well.

Confucious say:

He who insults grammar should take time to use spell check.

Your
Sense

If I had been claiming that is what you do then I would have said your name. But your having obviously taken offense to what I said leads me to believe that I may not be too far off base.
And not that it is any of your concern, but I'm 31.

Ok, to clarify what I was saying, you are correct by saying "public school sure has", but if I had written it, I would've gone with "public schools sure have". That is all.

And I would have used "public schools sure have" had I been referring to all public schools. I simply chose to use "public school" in the singular since I was referring to one school that was mentioned in a previous post. The end.

The end? You're grammar is as fined-tuned as a Neanderthal's; not only in the rhetorical sense, but in the subjective since as well.

Yo dis playa u is dun, you kant do no nuthin to stopp dat won. stuped.

and i had just woken up as I was writing that...so excuse me

I'm 23, but for the record, I know fifteen year olds who have a lot more sense than you claim to. At your age, you're going into grade ten? Eleven? As a sophomore (or junior) in high school, you should be a little more educated. Fifteen sounds young, but it's really not quite that young. I mean, I remember things from when I was fifteen that were coherant and intelligent. I was a relatively well-spoken fifteen-year-old, and English isn't even my first language.

My boyfriend's little sister is fifteen, and she's one of the smarter people I know. Fifteen is the point where you should be able to think logically, coherantly, efficiently.

So don't think you can pull the age card just because you're losing an argument.

Everything you just said was irrelevant. You are 23 (the rest of the people here are probably even older), I am 15. Who do you think should win? You're brain is more developed than mine...so basically what I saying is: I hope to god you win the argument or you're a idiot.

And by the way, 'coherant' is incorrect, it's 'coherent'. I don't even read that much and I caught that.

And have you commented on the first post, have you anything to say? Or are you just adding to what other people have said in the middle of the thread?

No.

My argument was that at fifteen, your brain should be developed enough to think logically, enough to argue with someone twenty-three or older. Your brain is growing and undergoing changes, yes, but it is still able to retain information and do thought processes. Just because your brain is changing doesn't mean that it is obsolete until you turn eighteen or whatever.

And "incoherant" was a typo. Notice I used an e when I spelled it again.

But who has the advantage????? YOU. Duh. There's nothing you can say.

And that wasn't a typo because on the one where I quoted it, i fixed it myself on accident....but if you look at your original post, you'll find that they're spelt the same way. Not a typo, just stupidity.

I was just saying, you can't play the age card:

Your brain isn't obsolete because of puberty. Forget advantages or disadvantages; I'm not a rocket scientist, but you aren't a vegetable either.

If you really feel that threatened about age, why are you posting HERE, where you know the average member is older than you?

No comment on the spelling error? I see.

Not because of puberty :wtf , because you're older, that in itself is an advantage, that's all I'm saying.

I mentioned my age as a safety blanket if I were to lose the argument.

And once again, have you commented on the first post? I'd like to hear your opinion on this rather than your opinion on the meaningless stuff that we're doing now.
