Thankyou Francis for objective, un biased posting
If you want to exclude the exception then kids cant wear a cross..
Wearing a cross would be fine. What you couldn't do is wear a t-shirt that said "Christians suck." It would be fine to wear your t-shirt to a Christians suck rally. Christian children don't have to go to the rally. But they do need to go to school. They should find a safe environment at school where they can apply themselves to learning without being insulted.
Thats why its added in the bill..so you can wear your cross...without it you would be considered a bully to non believers.
I agree that saying your christian isnt being a bully morally speaking.Saying you're a Christian is not bullying anyone. Telling a Christian, homosexual, or Jew he is evil is bullying. Telling someone she is ugly is bullying. It doesn't matter how deeply you believe it. You shouldn't say it at school. Really you shouldn't say it anywhere. But assholes will be assholes, just not at school.
Bullying should not be tolerated for any reason. If you're going to allow religiously motivated bad behavior then you're going to be allowing a hell of a lot of bad behavior.
That's great. So now the bullies can't beat someone's arse in the name of Jesus. I wonder how long it would have taken for them to figure that one out?
Link please?I am just now hearing this was dropped! Apparently there will no longer be an exception to bully in the name of religious and moral beliefs in the legislation.
So I ask you people that are in not in support of freedom of religion...{those that wish for the words to be removed from the bill}
Why is it ok to force a child against his religion?

Seriously?Where is any child being "forced against" their religion?
