Whats the matter......No logic..just character attacks...very lame
Perhaps if you read the posts and the article you could follow along and realize how stupid you appear to be at the moment

Pfft - Character attacks? You'd actually ned to acquire some character to have it attacked. :24:

You crack me up. Whacha gonna say next, oh wise one? Let's see some more of your logic.

You do understand the concept of the new legislation right and the protection it affords?

Perhaps this will help bring you up to speed John

“It does no such thing,” Glenn said in response to a series of email questions from Michigan Messenger. “The religious free speech protections included in the bill, consistent with the First Amendment, simply ensure that students won’t be bullied or punished — as occurred last year at a high school in Howell — for daring to say they believe a certain behavior is wrong as a matter of sincerely held religious or moral conviction. The First Amendment and other free speech protections do just that, protect free speech, not bullying. And students, like all other Americans, are free to verbally express their opinions — including religious and moral views — without fear of government repression or persecution, including under anti-bullying or harrassment laws.”

Due to furthering legislation..it happens all the time.
Law books can now feel entire walls.......what once was simple merely has become a mess

OK, so by putting in that language, a "Christian" student can now legally bully a gay student because of the deeply held religious belief that homosexuality is wrong.

Ah hell, no problem in that - Jesus wants us to beat the gay outta those faggots, right?

Hows that wrong.
You approve of someone getting bullied if they say its wrong to fuck a cat?

I don't approve of anyone getting bullied, that's my problem with this. Bullying behavior should not be protected because it comes from a religious/moral source. When a Muslim child decides to torment a Christian child at school because he/she believes the Christian child is an abomination (Hey, it's their right to say so! It's a religious/moral view), I fully expect you to support that Muslim child's right to do so.

But I still think it's wrong.

Incorrect thats why the law was enacted.
So the Christian {or whatever religion he may be} cant be bullied for not expressing positive view of gays for example.
The simple fact he or she does not approve is not bullying.

Nothing is protected is the sense you are thinking...its a protection from being bullied.
Its actually a win for the liberals..No sure why they are throwing a fuss over it...More than likely due to who is the spokesperson for the legislation.

Incorrect how? That law was supposed to be enacted to put an end to bullying - period. By injecting religion into it, it gave a defense to any individual bully to weasle out of the charges.

And a victory for the liberals? Are you serious? This is a failure for all. Anytime religion is injected into law, we all lose. I don't understand why you can't see that.

The law does not permit bullying ..it is for the purpose of one to hold to his beliefs and not be labeled a bully.
Again the cat fucking analogy comes into play.
Little Ted says its wrong to fuck a cat....you will burn in hell...the law prevents Ted from being a bully by stating such.

You're making a huge incorrect assumption, and it's therefore difficult to navigate through the tangles of your word garbage in order to hold a productive conversation. Said assumption is that a held belief cannot be used to bully; that it's merely a held belief that should be protected from being considered bullying. I disagree.

You used the example of animal sex, which is a creepy trend for you, as a benign belief this Christian student held, as if anyone in the school would bully him for holding it. Do you know of a mass uprising of pro-cat rapist school children that would make this example fucking useful? Accountable? You teach, no? Lots of pro-cat rapist students in your classes that would bully poor little Ted for being anti-cat rape?

Anyway, my example still stands, in my eyes...the Muslim student in the example would be legally protected from being held accountable as a bully because his bullying is backed by religious/moral beliefs. I say that's bullshit.

This legislation is specifically geared towards religious/moral beliefs that hurt others, and not benign commonly accepted beliefs, because the religious belief that one should not murder is not really something people get in a tizzy about. This is clearly an attempt by lawmakers to make it "ok" for religious children to pass cruel judgment on other children in school and say it's their right to do so.

Actually your muslim examples shows it best...its a win for the liberals.
Another protection for specialized groups
We must remember we whine,,we get legislation..not always for the best.
They are not bullies for expressing themselves{bottom line}

Would you rather inhibits freedom of beliefs?....not saying you do...I am just flipping the coin
As we can see...that if Little Ted said you will rot in hell for banging Toms ass he would be labeled a bully
