If this is so, then what I was getting at was that slavery didn't start in Africa around the time just preceding the mass slavery of Africans to the so called new world but was already in existence many many centuries before that in Egypt. Actually various white expeditions into Africa did capture blacks and bring them back to America. Plus, buying them from a slave trader doesn't somehow relieve whites from kidnapping. Its still kidnapping, just paid for.

I can guarantee you that this has to do with class and poverty. Crime has a direct correlation with poverty.
