We seem to not be able to find our asses, either.

The big oil monopolies in the region should be busted up, in order to actually have the government have a chance.

Good point, however, when the oil companies there were regionally controlled, they supported the people over there. But once again, we get our grip on it and most of those folks who at least had food shelter and access to medical help will probably starve to death and die in the streets.

Cheney will get another Christmas bonus. Oh and they will have new streets.

However, I will not be surprised if local oil companies were just bought out by western companies.

Right now they could not find their own asses with a roadmap and a flashlight anyways. And they stand no hope of providing for themselves with these former big oil flunkies calling the shots.
The Iraq government makes more progress than our own congress. LOL!

And our oil flunkies aren't hanging out and helping them write their 'constitution'.

Gas would not be over $3 a gallon if we were there for just oil. If we were only there for the oil and we were raping their country of it we'd be getting gas for $1.50 right now and our economy would be zinging!

That's my point. That damage has already been done my friend.

Western oil companies have been buying Iraqui crude, processing it, then returning the finished gasoline product to Iraq and its environs and basically giving it away, all at American taxpayers expense of course. Pure profit and it is a gift straight from Uncle Sam to big oil for putting these asshats in office to begin with.

Its not about the price so much as the fact that oil has Peaked, we cannot meet supply. iraq just insures we have future oil resources we can tap.

All do respect, but I work for big oil:ninja

Iraq is not why gasoline is 3.00 a gallon. More details later;)

And don't fool yourself about who runs Iraq, oil is why we are there, it is why we will never leave, and we are trained to pay 3.00 for gas and we will continue, that's why it is 3.00 a gallon, cause you're buying it.

I know that Iraq is not why gasoline is $3 a gallon. What I am saying is that if it was all about oil in Iraq then we'd be paying $1.50 a gallon. We wouldn't be paying $3 a gallon.

So you are with the oil companies then eh? You are the devil. You must leave these parts!!!!!!!! :p

And I agree fully with you that we are paying $3 bucks because we keep buying it at $3. The oil companies have us by the kahunas!!!!!!! :eek

How long do you think it takes an army in an unstable country to protect and secure all the oil reserves? There's a hell of a lot of it there!

LOL...you are just way too nice....lol

I foyu read my post above my response to you, I posted that we are using the oil in Iraq to payback some of the oil companies that helped get Dick-N-Bush elected. Do you remember that toad that was put in the prime minister role if Afghanistan?

You know who he was in a former life? The man pertly responsible for building the single biggest oil pipeline from Pakistan allllllllll the way through Afghanistan. And he did it for Unocal.

That's just the tip of the iceberg hon.....Just scratching the surface.
