Do you not read or see the news? There was been widespread condemnation of the war from many quarters, including in our own countries. We invaded a non threatening country. Would you not consider it illegal if a non threated by the USA country invaded the USA simply on hunches and lies?

yet no one will make us, not even the global policing body that is supposed to enforce the rules of war everyone is talking about. I believe that if we were truly doing something wrong the UN would be saying the same thing that all the liberals sitting around in Starbucks are saying. I don't know, maybe I'm nuts:p.

The UN won't do anything because they know we won't comply with anything they set up. Thats one of the many reaosns why the world hates us.

You really think anyone would be stupid enough to try and force the USA to do anything? The USA is probably the strongest power on the planet!

and there you have it....You disagree with what is plainly wrong, disagree with killing and maiming thousands of troops, slowly tearing down the public opinion of our great nation for profit, and you have to be a pot smoking degenerate drop out who hangs out at coffe shops and quotes Addy Hoffman.

I know you didn't say that totally, but I can feel the tint of political superiority. Personally I think Bush and Cheney are crooks, and should be tried for war crimes.

Oh and I am a registered Independent, I'm not a liberal. Fearing the government does not make you a liberal, it makes you question, which makes you intelligent.

Look, the world can hate whomever it wants. If America was truly wrong in what it has done someone would have done something.

Why should the rest of the world fix in our country what we are obviously too blind to fix ourselves?

WE need to stand up for us

So what is anyone going to do? Overthrow the USA and get rid of their government? Who exactly is in a position to do that? You really do live in another world don't you?:smiley24:

Liberal isn't a party, its a point of view. There is nothing wrong with being liberal, that was probably a bad expression, its just that i live in California near SF so the president could say the sky is blue and all the liberals around here would shake there heads and call him a liar.

Look, there are a lot of things wrong with what has been happening but people act like no progress has been made. there are undoubtedly at least a few good things that have come from our occupation.

Progress hell, we have been spent into a debt we not overcome for many generations, Vet's coming back to find a broken down VA system that is failing them, troops killing themselves because they cannot sleep at night from trauma.

If that's progress, then I'll backslide anyday. My point is simply this, I don't think people support it because they are bad...I honestly think they just don't see it. Theu bought the ticket and missed the whole fucking show.

But to the victor goes the spoils eh?

Every single action taken has a negative reaction. Even withdrawl.

Eh, I don't mind. Its not like they don't make sense. I just don't view it as a failure like almost everyone else does.

No, of course not, they are good guys. We have some great folks on this site even though we disagree on quite a few things we are still all pretty good cyberfriends for the most part. It's nice.

I agree with you though. I don't view it as a failure either.
