Way too many people get up in arms over what shouldn't affect life like it does. It's a place to go (or not go) when you die. Why can't we stop worrying about how we got here and focus on what we do while we're here? Believe what you want and be a good person.

I'm just saying, if there is a deity that powerful, then we have no way, and never will to quantify it's power, or comprehend it's existence, which means we really would have no idea 'bout it's existence, cos we can't, as I said comprehend it, snd knowledge and fait are two different things, I was asking a genuine question not trying to stir anything

Please don't take offense, but I know of no logical or empirical proof of God. Because we have emotions does not prove God exists. Is that line of reasoning promoted in religious circles I wonder?

And regarding knowing what is the "right" religion, we're never going to know that either until we die, or God makes a grand entrance into the earthly plain and straightens mankind out. And instead of one religion being "right", many could be "right" or all of them could be "wrong". Or you know what- he might not even care what religion you belong to as long as you live a moral life. There's just no way to tell.

One of the biggest irritants of religious people, is when they tell you if you don't believe like they do, your going to burn in Hell. But what if they were wrong, then what? :eek

I think God (More, Something, It, etc) is imaginary. Mankind made it all up to feel less alone and more special.

No. We know which religion is right after reviewing it and understanding it. I.e. there are 3 different words, 2 are misspelled and one is right. I think humans are smart enough to realize which one is right.

Forunantly, I do not think that way. Only God judges who goes to heaven or hell. You might not have the same beliefs I have, however, this doesn't mean that you're not going to heaven or that you're going to hell.

We don't know which (if any and i stress this point) religion is correct, there is no proof that any of them are. The only way to know is to die and even then there's no guarantee we'll know the truth.

I don't believe God is a man, but I believe that because of our humanity, we give "Him" masculinity.
Traditionally, men are providers and protectors. Men safeguard whom they love. Defense has always been attributed to men.
It's easy to see why those endearing qualities would be personified in the idea of a male God.

With all due respect, you cannot state that yours IS right. The entire argument about belief in God being faith based just got slung into the toilet.
If you can have faith that your religion is right for you, then others have that same privilege. Stating that your religion is the right one is presumptuous and borders on disrespecting the others who have faith as well as you do.
Rethink that statement.

Ok. Read over what I said. Did I say ISlam is the right religion for all of you? I just said that Islam is right. I think it's obvious that I was stating my opinion.
