yes, a gay has a higher chance of getting hiv/aids if they sleep around, but that doesn't make just BEING GAY dangerous. You're lumping what it means to be gay and gay sex together like they have to happen at once or something.

No....its a higher rate in homosexuals because it effected them earlier when it first came about. It would have been the same for heteros if it hit their population in a significant way early on. If you are a gay person, and you are just as careful as a straight person, your life style is just as dangerous as any other person's that practices safe sex and has knowledge of their partner's sexual history.

I have nothing against gay people. The discussion had turned into the health aspects of the lifestyle, which statistically speaking is more hazardous than that of a non-gay lifestyle. I didn't make a single judgment on it.

I didn't say they should stop because of it. I didn't say having feelings for the same sex was a choice. I don't even think that having feelings for the same sex is WRONG.

I do not know where this hostility came from. I feel like I must have blacked out and said something terrible to you, but now can't remember what.
