Maybe you guys are just jealous.
And maybe you need to develop debating skills.
Maybe you guys are just jealous.
Haha, DEFINITELY.I feel it would be easier for me to believe in God if he repped me from time to time
Can you prove that there is no God? How would the world get started, space, matter, everything. Even this "Big Bang" you speak of, wouldn't someone have to start it off? Wouldn't someone have to make it, or wouldnt it have to start somehow? Wouldn't someone have to do it?
That someone is God.
"Now stop wasting my time! I am in the middle of a discussion about the nature of the mythos and logos, installing a third OS on my computer, engaging in a chess match and about to prepare supper.:mad

Typical night at the plate for you: 0-4. As for #4, ask Melissa how good it was.

I am an atheist and I live a happy, fulfilling life. I'm actually more at peace with myself now that I don't believe in God. Now when I do something I just do it without thinking if it will or will not please the eye in the sky.
Should I help that guy put that table in his car? Sure. Why? Because he needs help and it's my job too (stockman at Walmart).
Should I cuss up a storm with my friends? Sure. Why? It brings me and them happiness.
In the first example, if I still believed in God, I would first see if it would please God, and then think about the man's happiness. However why should I put the well-being of a non-provable being over the well-being of a man, who I can see exists right in front of me.
In the second example, why should I worry, once again, if this invisible being disproves of the profanities that come forth from my mouth, when it brings me and my friends happiness. I'm not going to put my happiness second to this so-called powerful being.
For me, when I became an atheist, it was as a weight was lifted off my chest. I can base my decisions on how I want them, and not how some invisible being wants them.
I'm rambling now......

I love how Christians and Atheists waste valuable time arguing about something neither of them have actual proof of, when they could just be living their everyday lives doing something much more meaningful.
if you have a good answer for after death, you can live meaningful. if you dont know what ll happen after you die, and you think that you live meaningful, i think you are making mistake.
