Why do you have to denigrate life by asserting that it's a temporary torture that sets us up for a perfect after life? Is it because you are dissatisfied with this life? I think so.

Those who preach about an eternal life preach that life is suffering, but that it must be endured in preparation for the afterlife. As such, they are preaching a renunciation of this life, and so are preachers of death.

Atheists don't have to prove there is no God.
Chrsitians do have to prove there is God (if they want to be taken seriously that is).

It's called "the burden of proof" (or something like that).
"The burden of proof" states that for something to be a "fact" there must be a proof to show that it is the true; not a proof to show that it isn't true.
In other words, for someone to claim that "God exists" they need to prove that it is true. It's not up to the atheist to prove that it isn't true.

Otherwise I could say that "Unicorns exist" and we would have to accept that as true until someone disproved it. Since it's impossible to disprove they don't exist we must have to accept that they exist. . . according to "christian logic."

That would mean we would have to accept the existence of an infinite amount of dreamt up things.
