that's how i like to think of "God"

as the driving force behind all the things we know as science, but that people way back when knew as magic

Why can He not make a man without a sin nature or a man that cannot or will not sin?

I once read that the chances of life just being an accident are the same chances of a tornado blowing through a junk yard and fully assembling a working Boeing 747. There has to be a God.

In an enless universe all possibilities become probabilities. That means that there is a 50 50 chance either way.

This from me who believes in a God, thanks to a personal apotheosis, but not the miracle working absentee God.
He must have lost to mine in the 50 50 draw.

What are the chances of God thinking He can have relevance to an intelligent man if He never shows up.

0 chance. Even in an endless universe.

That agrees with the R C popes.

They give evolution the nod right to the big bang and say that before that instant in time things belong to God.
Physicists cannot prove otherwise because they say that all the laws of physics break down before that. Stalemate if science is right and R C keeps their unknowable ineffable God.

A small victory for R C and Christianity because all religions are loosing the fight against secularism.

I as a religionist, am not sure if that is good or not.

I've heard this before and it's a weak argument to make. Perhaps God wanted that question to confuse people. The purpose of this statement is to show you that you're focusing on the wrong ideas for refuting theism.

Bibles have to be judged on the moral position they take or show.

Since the Christian Bible shows a distinct lack of justice or morals in dealing with women, Gays and slaves, there is enough ambiguity and injustice to discard it as a literal document and even perhaps as a moral one.

It may not have been 3000 years ago but it is certainly immoral by today's standards.

It did help to lead me to God but then I do not read it literally or believe it's characters to be real.

well, if God wants all of us to believe in him, then why isnt he punishing the people that are not Christians and dont believe in him? Those that live in America I mean. where you have the right to practice whatever religion you want

my advice to you is to discuss these questions with a Christian priest and then decide your conclusions when you have more feedback.
