I know people who believe in God and those who don't, and I love them all the same. You can keep kidding yourself by placing God in the same catagory as the above fictional characters, but I know better, and your borishly typical post does not impress me, to be honest, it only makes me feel bad for you because honey, if that's all you got....you're definately grasping at straws now...lol

No, I don't think he exists, I ceased my beliefs in him. It's not a refusal to acknowledge his supposed existence, I just purely don't believe in god anymore because it doesn't make sense.

I believe what makes sense to me, not what people spoon feed me, and not just what some society wants me to believe.

That's a nasty blow considering you don't know a damn thing about my religious upbringing which was very strict I might add. Secondly, I've never slammed you about your beliefs have I ? It's your type of Christian that gives Christianity a bad name and leaves a foul taste in my mouth. Probably one of the main reasons I no longer believe.

So you're not rationally convinced that the biblical God is a delusion, but rather are dissociating yourself from a certain group of people you found bothersome?

Ohh Mr. G....seems you can dish it out but you certainly can't take it. You've thrown your share of low blows doll....you've never slammed me for what I believe in?.....HA....perhaps we should ask Santa or the Easter Bunny.....

If I leave a foul taste in your mouth then maybe it's because I've given you back some of your own medicine, it doesn't taste very good does it?.....and as far as your reasons for no longer believing in God.....I'm sure they're personal reasons, and that's your business, it has nothing to do with me, or anybody else for that matter.

It WAS a nasty blow and for that Im sorry. But you're not the only one who's ever had issues with God, I've been there too. I won't say that I stopped believing but I definately turned my back on Him. I was angry and confused and I had every right to be.....but that's all it was in the end....anger. It took me a long time to come to terms with my own issues.....

Sharpen up your comprehension skills SS and go back and re-read what I wrote. Do it very slowly so you don't miss it the second time around.

With reference to the foul taste your God does not condone what you're doing in case you forgot that part. He really dislikes hypocrites. You profess to be a Christian yet you don't act like one unless it's at a time which is convenient to you. I suppose it's easy to ask for forgiveness. :24:

It's a very long story. Suffice to say I've seen enough bad shit in my life make me believe there is no God. That's about all I have to say on the matter.

I accept your apology. That was a very noble thing for you to do and I thank you.

I have my very personal reasons for no longer being a believer and I used to rub it in a Christians face every chance I got. I've progressed to the point where I no longer think people are weak minded for their beliefs and have come to terms with the idea that whatever they choose to believe in is their business. I just have no interest in allowing someone to shove it down my throat especially when I tell 'em they have their thoughts and I have mine. Never the two shall meet again.

I'm not a hypocrite, I'm just human and I make mistakes. He knows that. Tell me, how is a Christian supposed to act? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I see....I should just shut my mouth when others put down me and my beliefs..instead of speaking my mind I should repeat the Lords prayer over and over again until my tongue swells...I should taste soap each and every time I say a curse word........and I shall rot in Hell for flirting with the opposite sex...lol...if it's ok by you, I think I'll wait and have Him judge me, thank you anyway.
