By playing "hero", he made an already dangerous situation into a potential shoot out. its good that it ended up the way it did, but thats not always the case.
So what you're saying is this:
You carry around a dangerous item everywhere you go. If used improperly/illegally, it could be potentially harmful to everyone around you. But you choose to do it because you know you're mature enough to use them properly.
Sound familiar? :humm:
Death is death, Peter. Heck, I'd prefer the quick bullet to the head over the slow dying over years, but that's just me. :dunnoMy tobacco cannot cause instantanious death, completely different thing entirely!
What a bad choice. :wtf:Death is death, Peter. Heck, I'd prefer the quick bullet to the head over the slow dying over years, but that's just me. :dunno

But if he is just walking around the mall with a pack of cigarettes in his pocket people are not at risk. If he was carrying a gun and tripped it could go off and hit somebody.Death is death, Peter. You mean guns don't ever go off by accident? Its 2008. These arent black powder joints with the flint rocks.
Not much anymore, with the way they are designed. You mean guns don't ever go off by accident?

I don't have an article. That was just a hypothetical scenario.Give me an article or some kind of documentation where someone tripped, fell down and killed someone by their gun going off.

LOL Im just saying alot of guns are geared more towards safety. They have pressure plates as well as a safety. Im sure to register a gun so that you're able to carry, would require an inspection of the fire arm to make sure it is safe, not only for the user, but others as well.
It depends on the state you are living in. Where I live it is very easy to get permit to carry a handgun. I believe to get one all you need to do is take a short gun safety class.Good point but the biggest safety feature surely is how sensible and competent the person carrying a gun is. I don't know the ins and outs of your laws on this but is there some kind of test you need to take first before being given a license to make sure you're competent and sensible enough to use one?
