How just a little basic common sense and logic?

Even IF there were some evil plan to draw the US into war, why go to the trouble of wiring those two buildings to collapse? Just flying the planes into them and killing all of those innocent civilians would have been enough?

No one in their right mind would have gone to the extra trouble, expense and risk when it served no purpose.

I'm all for conspiracies, and I'm sure that there are tons of legitimate ones out there... but the WTC conspiracies are just absurd when you think about them logically.

I still think there was something dodgy about the Princess Diana car crash. Lets face it, if the royals wanted someone bumped off and it not come out, no one could arrange it like them, cant help wondering if the reason they didn't find that white Fiat Uno is because prince Phillip has it safely hidden away somewhere.

No way that could be done to both buildings without somebody catching wind of it. Unless one wants to believe that building security was in on it along with a host of others.

For those building? Months. I'm sure all the investment bankers would have been wondering why guys were drilling holes in support beams and sliding sticks of dynamite or C-4 into them also. And a bit curious about the miles of wires all strung together running down the hallways and elevator shafts.

that site goes completely in-depth to debunk basically all of the conspiracies surrounding the event. It is incredibly detailed, and pretty much all of the engineers I know completely agree with the conclusions that are there.

There is one thing about that day that does bother me. Dubya was allowed to sit in a school four miles from an airport. A highly-publicized location and event. With, at the time that morning, a supposedly unknown amount of hijacked planes in the air.

Why was he allowed to sit there reading a book? Cheney is on record saying he was picked up by the armpits, feet barely touching the floor and whisked away to his undisclosed location.

Unknown number of planes, unknown locations. Dubya left to sit in a school full of kids. He's said he didn't want to scare them. Perhaps, since our country is under attack a simple & calm 'sorry kids, gotta go do President Stuff' didn't occur to him or the Secret Service?

Then again, it was Cheney running the show anyways. Let the puppet sit in class looking like a deer caught in the headlights.

But seriously, that has always bothered me. Why did they let him sit there unless they knew for sure he was safe? Which at the time, they didn't.

Conspiracies on any type of large scale can't exist, because people have proven over and over again that no one can keep their mouth shut. Let's be honest, the "government" isn't some mystical force of nature, it's just a bunch of people with husbands and wives, kids, dogs, mortgages and everyday stresses and concerns just like the rest of us. Start talking about killing off innocent US citizens and guess what - SOMEONE is going to think... this is not OK. I need to shoot a little secret video with my cell phone, or record a conversation, or take some notes... and spill the beans before shit hits the fan.

Hell, the President got a BJ in his office and THAT couldn't be kept a secret... and there were only TWO PEOPLE IN THE ROOM! How does anyone think you could get thousands of people in on a conspriacy to kill thousands of people to keep quiet about it? The lure of fame and notoriety alone would draw handfuls of people out to speak up.

No one who worked for the Government, no one who works in the so-called "military industrial complex," no one who actually saw anything taking place on that day, no one who was actually IN the buildings...

I guess I should specify "no one" in any of the dozens and dozens that I have seen.

I suppose it's POSSIBLE that someone has, but in this world of media frenzy, I find it virtually impossible that someone with inside knowledge wouldn't be given front-page news status if they came forward.

And no one knows ANYTHING for SURE in this life. I just use my own brain to filter out what is plausible and what isn't. If I lived my life in fear of everything I wasn't SURE of, I'd probably never get out of bed.

As for being able to keep secrets, we only just found out within the past decade that we knew the attack on Pearl Harbor was coming and let it happen to advance the war.
