Look guys, nobody here is suggesting that looking with longing at somebody is going to be harmful. We're talking about gay sexual intercourse. You can play word games all you want, but we have already said in no uncertain terms that what we're talking about being hazardous to health is the specific act of man on man sex.

Well I certainly don't think the feelings are dangerous. When I use the word "lifestyle" in this particular instance, you are correct in that I'm refering to an active sexual life. To me it's common sense that working and dating and getting to know different people and having different experiances is not inherently dangerous. So much so is it common sense to me that I didn't pause to consider that you may think I'm so over the edge that I wouldn't see any other way.

Hopefully this will clear things up a little. When I talk about the "gay lifestyle," the only thing I'm refering to is the sexual side. The non-sexual part of the 'lifestyle' is no different than their straight counterparts.

From those stats GLing posted there's a high rate of AIDs in Africa too. AID's is more prevelant in different places. So what do you want Africans to do? Stop having sex as well?

The only think which effects how dangerous or not it is is the precausions you take, both straight and gay people! Actually, it is not harmful for children being brought up by gay couples (who can't choose being gay, as discussed time and time again, so no point even going there on this thread) unlike children being brought up by parents on illegal drugs causing all kinds of concerns and even dangers.

I find it far more responsible to see decent gay people bringing children up.

Those stats he posted are from the CDC. They are not making those up as a conspiracy to slander homosexuals.

No, he's quite right. Everyone has the CHANCE of getting AIDs, no matter who you are. Some people just might be in a higher risk category, like African Americans.
