if two people love each other and want to have kids, and can show that child love, affection and attention it deserves, what does it matter if they are the same sex?

I don't see anything wrong with this. If two people love eachother. No matter if it's same sex or not. Then yeah they could be parents. As long as they show the kid the same love as a normal parent would.

it would appear that everyone so far has agreed with this point of view..and quite rightly so.

as far as the increase in aids /hiv in fection goes it would appear that worldwide this refers to america and africa,as europe has it under controll.
africa the infection is in the hetereosexual population and due to the culteral affect of a society which does not use condoms.amnesty international are also currently concerned with the use of rape for hiv infection as a weapon in many african countries.

if the increase in america is as shown here ,and as src has said that condoms specifically designed for anal intercourse are not readily available then that shows complete denial and stupidity.i cannot understand this situation.

in europe ,i would say that we have a very different view and attitude to sex.a massive tv and billboard campaign by the government altered views to the use ofmsafe sex procedures and entered new ideas into discussions in homes across the land.the advent of flavourd condoms and condoms for anal intercourse became the norm.( i would include thenuse of gum guards as used by lesbians also in this.

our education system insists that these matters are dealt with in year 10(14-15 years) and covers safe sex ,homosexuality etc..and condoms are readily available off the school counsellor at all times.safety is paramount.(ofcourse it was my child which broke her polystyrene penis in half on condom day...scares the shit out of the boys and keeps them away;))

we have a national health service which must function by cost preservation which means preventative treatment ..so condoms ,gun guards etc are available and free.this includes condoms for anal intercourse.

in britain every high street or shopping centre has a chain store called ann summers, they sell lingerie and sex toys .25% of the shop space id#s given over to toys (many for anal use)and condoms..it is perfectly normal for myself and my daughter to visit this shop if we are out ,even my 72 year old mum loves it there.we have no problem discussing these issues nor safety...do the countries where hiv is on the increase do this?
it is proven that the increase in bdsm in europe over the last 20 years is a reaction to the aids epidemic of the 80s and has become a mainstream subject.

education and the necessary condoms are essential ,and less expensive than research for the much sought after cure.
