You know what's funny? for the first time I don't want to answer to a post here. It's because I'm afraid to be talked to like I just was. I think that is not why I joined this place, so maybe I should leave. I have been in a political forum for a long time and I never felt that way before.

You always bring so much to the table though.

I don't get the impression that the Boom is attacking you personally. He's just a vibrant guy who feels passionately about something important.

I'm not going to get into the flag argument, but I will say when I go out to eat or go shopping, I fully expect to be able to understand the person working there. Don't come here and complain that aren't tv channels in your language, and force companies to feel the need to write instructions in English and another language on their containers. It's America; we speak English.

Sometimes I wish I was American too . I could watch Baseball, talk in English all day, debate in the daily basis (I love how Americans are so passionate about politics) and wouldn't have to wait for some cool things you guys have first. I also would feel I chose a respected profession, which is not how it feels over here.

well I have stayed out of here because I tend to get a lil worked up in these threads....but as I just pmed to someone else and this is where I stand when it comes to the American Flag...well to me it represents courage honor strength love passion freedom loyalty tradition and a long list of other things and I would take a bullet to defend it and fight against anyone that disrespects it...some of you will call me foolish but I took a sworn oath and even though that I'm getting out of the military soon I will honor that oath I took because its something that last a lifetime and I will take it to my grave knowing I honored it in the best way I could for as long as I could
