Totally makes sense to me. Damned near every dollar Accountable has earned in his life, certainly since age 18 has been off the taxpayers dime....A self-proclaimed libertarian indeed. Your completely right. I did swear to protect Americans. I am assuming this scenario was supporting the fact the government was putting homosexuals in concentration camps. If the federal government was doing it i wouldent care. If another country is doing it i wouldent care either. If i was given orders by the US Government to go to war with another country having gay concentration camps, i would because those are my orders. Not because i give a shit about homosexuals.




So because i hate homosexuals I am denial of being one.

It makes me smile knowing that in less than 60 days gays will be allowed to openly serve in the military. You are young so I'm sure you still have several years to go before you're out of the military. Good luck with that.

One of the reasons doc hates the fags is because of his deep religious views. He'd rather die than be gay because he thinks it pleases god, yet he is willing to beat the gay out of the homos or stand by and watch them get rounded up and exterminated, exactly what Jesus would do... right?

Everybody deserves respect - at least respect enough to not name-call. I disagree with Doc too. I don't think his positions are rational but why name call? I got on Accountable's case because of the irony of Accountables hypocricy of being retired military, accepting government healthcare, being a state government employee, all the while suggesting that everyone elses government benefits should be cut, but of course he should continue to recieve his. For someone like Accountable to have the audacity to call Doc a jackass in ironic indeed.

I don't disagree with this statement. The military is a microcosim of larger society and has its share of every type of personality the civillian sector has. Just volunteering does not make one necessarily any more respectable than anyone else - but everyone deserves respect as a human being - until we stoop to the name-calling level.

I think religion is complete and utter fairytale bullshit, and again, I disagree with Doc's opinion on this issue. But I still respect Doc as a human being, and I respect any man or woman that faced live-fire combat on a daily basis to an even higher degree because I served too. I don't expect everyone to understand that. But guys, we don't have to call each other names to rip someones position we disagree with.
