The biggest issue it seems, is determining when "life" starts....


Me, I cannot carry children....I don't see why it's any of my fucking business....Bunch of hairly legged back slapping jerk offs in DC determining what a woman does with her body is fucking rediculous.

Personally I am pro-life, but to an end...I think late term should be illegal, I think it shold be allowed in instances of rape, incest etc..

And in instances where the mother runs the risk of dying.


HOWEVER...just my opinion....Bottom line, I don't want Obama or Bush deciding

Agreed. But it never should have been. It's a medical issue, not a political one.

Some would argue that it's moral, and a medical ethics issue.....Technically, doctors take an oath to try and protect life, to heal not to kill.

I'm not defending, I'm just playing devils advocate.

Here's the pisser, the Christian right doesn't want to just accept that poeple are going to have sex, married or not....And that accidents are going to happen.

They need to accept it, start talking to their kids about sex, not like it's a sin, but a God given drive, and tell them to wear rubbers already

But who has that power to decide when life begins? Tell me who has that kinda authority to tell me that? Cuz I don't think there's anyone walking today that could.
Personally, I'm pro-life FOR ME and could never have one. But it's not my job or anyone else's to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body. So I guess that makes me pro-choice.

Better sex education and (more importantly) better parenting would help I'm sure reduce the stats of abortions.

As for when "life starts", good god thats a hellova question. I still have to lean to the right of the mother to abort at just about any stage, though I am not comfortable with doing so. Not at all

I agree.,..that's the problem, we can all argue about life starting to no end, and still have the same problem.

The shortest distance between two points, is to agree that those who choose to abstain, will do so no matter what, those who choose to have sex, will no matter what.

And work on prevention, not just pregnancy, but disease as well

yuh...but it's gonna happen. We've ALL got that friend that did the right things and still ends up knocked up or knocking someone up. IT happens.
Not really my point tho seeing that I don't support it as a form of birth control anyway. My point was that the people making the laws that shouldn't even exist are MEN and in my mind have the least say on the matter.
Oh hell, I just really think it's a medical issue, not a political one and the sooner we get politicians out of the matter entirely, the better off we'll be.
