I thoguht the action was fine, just the booking at times. I mean they build Bobby Roode for months and months and then not have him win the Title. Just seemed weird, and to have him lose to a screwy finish. Darn. James Storm won the Title on Impact too which is even more stupid really given he wasn't the guy there in the main angles. Had it been Roode winning in a rematch (because apparently Angle was hurt after the PPV) then I could have seen better things in that. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against James Storm, it's just Roode was the guy who should have got it.

Yeah, I understand that but it's still great to have Storm as champion. They built Roode up for months but from what I'm hearing they didn't have him over because Hogan dosen't like him (really wish Hogan and Bishoff would fuck off) Hogan and Sting still put on a surprisingly good match, was never going to be good technically but they told the story so well.

James Storm pouring beer in that fan's mouth made my night lol. I was shocked to see them give Storm the belt, happy for him though, I'm a fan of the guy. He probably won't hold it long though.

Was great though I wish the'd had a longer match instead of a load of promo of Velvet Sky and Jarrett and Hardy fueding, Jarrett was supposed to be the heel but I found myself agreeing with everything he said. Weird putting Bobby Roode over for months then having Storm win the title on Impact in a short match. Still good though, think Storm looks more of a champion and great to get the belt on a TNA original. Oh, and great to see Gail Kim back on TNA!

I've gotta say I HATE Jeff Hardy and the fact that this guy is even still wrestling, let alone for a major promotion, I wish he'd just fuck off. And I understand what people are saying about building up Roode so long for no reason, I don't get that either. But honestly I just don't like Roode much at all, nothing really wrong with him but I think Storm is better. IMO the guy is way more charismatic, not to mention he's been around TNA since like DAY ONE, and he's always been a tag team guy, I think it's cool that he's finally going to have a single's career for himself after all he's done for TNA, not to mention he interacts great with the fans, and has a FANTASTIC beard. I hope this guy can stay in the main storylines for a while and get some high profile singles feuds.

I watched the PPV before Raw last night. It was.... well, it was a mixed bag of stuff. The tag match was decent, leading into Zack Ryder seeing his momentum somewhat killed off. What he has going for him is the fact that it took a screwjob finish for him fighting off both Ziggler and Swagger; not that it mattered since he got taken out even before his match on Raw. I honestly skipped past the women's match, though you're right... Beth did look pretty good. Sheamus and Christian was a let down, it just honestly wasn't that great of a match... I know it's not because they don't work well together, but something seemed off; plus I hate to see Christian lose, hell I don't remember the last time I saw him win a match. Triple Punk vs. Awesome Truth was pretty much what I was expecting it to be... a pretty good tag match with an interference finish. It moves the storyline on, but then with what happened on Raw last night, I don't know what they'll be doing with it now. Punk is moving on to del Rio while Cena takes on Truth and Miz. So I guess we move back to Hunter and Nash as the main focus, I swear it's like creative has ADD with this shit.

The World Title match was awesome. I've never seen either of those guys work harder than they did on Sunday; they had a great big man's match, and then the end was great and they both sold it incredibly well. Hell, Henry may have even Austined his way to a face turn with him yelling that he's the champion and didn't need any help walking up the ramp, and pretty much did do it in his own power. I know they've done the ring collapsing angle before, with Show even, but that was a long ass time ago... though I hated how the announcers acted like it hadn't ever happened. The WWE Title match was amazing... I have to say, it changed my opinion on del Rio a lot. I honestly didn't think he was anything more than a solid to good worker, but some of the bumps he took in that match were crazy sick, and I loved how Cena couldn't really use his moves of doom and was forced to be creative in some of the things that he did. The del Rio bump flying out of the ring and into the wall was great. Both of those guys really took it to another level, especially when you consider the state the ring was in at the time. They put on one of the better brawls I've seen in a long time.

Now, onto Raw. The opening segment and a half was great... with Hunter calling out Nash, and the back and forth between he and Johnny Ace before Nash took Hunter out on the stage. Then the scene with him attacking him again while he was strapped to the backboard was even better. The Punk/AdR confrontation along with JLtEVPoTRaIGMoR (no, I swear that isn't gibberish) demanding that Punk say he respects him was probably the best thing on the show other than the HHH/Nash segment. The tag match and the handicap match (after Ryder was taken out even before the match started) probably tied for third. I skipped past the women's match as usual, especially given how much I hate Beth Phoenix on the microphone and that Alicia Fox is one of the worst women's workers ever. I like how they're continuing this feud between Mason Ryan and Vickie's stable, even though I'm not entirely certain how it all makes sense, but it's good to see some continuity. We had our weekly Morrison gets squashed match (I'm starting to wonder if he hit on Stephanie in addition to all of the Melina shit), and then we had the most idiotic segment of the night, which of course was Michael Cole showing "pictures of JR"; just dumb shit, seriously. Then Cole challenged JR to the, well... "Michael Cole Challenge" next week, yeah that's not a trap, especially when Cole says he'll quit if he loses. The handicap match had some good work in it, and pretty much went as expected. One comment though... Creative: stop insulting our intelligence, we all know that a PLASTIC water bottle to the face isn't this devastating move that you're trying to make it out to be. All of that leads into.... the expected John Cena invitation for The Rock to team with him at Survivor Series. Yeah, none of us saw that coming at all after you guys already fucking announced that he'd be wrestling at Survivor Series. /facepalm

Overall... two decent to good shows, nothing spectacular on either one of them as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, I will note that the HHH/Nash stuff looks like there's a good chance we could see Shawn getting involved in that story. He made an appearance with HHH as a mini DX reunion at a house show last week, and there's talk that he'll be making at least one television appearance. Plus they're scheduled to release more DX gear in a few weeks as well, so why waste a perfectly good marketing opportunity. ;)

Yeah I don't see it as unlikely that Shawn will be involved in some way. Before raw I sort of had it pinned that it'd be Punk/Cena/Triple H/Rock vs Nash/Truth/Miz/Del Rio in a big marquee match, but the 3 way split from that doesn't sound bad. Rock/Cena vs Miz/Truth will be good and has to get a lot of interest, despite it being obvious. Del Rio vs Punk is different, and Punk deserves it. Nash/Triple H won't be too good.

I enjoyed the majority of the PPV as an aside. The opening tag match was a good match, Ziggler/Ryder was fine. The Divas match was ok (I had to watch it, no fast forward), but I didn't really care. Sheamus vs Christian was good but they've done better. Orton/Rhodes was very good. The tag match was pretty standard, could see the finish coming a mile off. I enjoyed the WHC match and Mark Henry is doing a very good job as Champion. The WWE Title match was very good, improvisation came across well. Overall pretty good.

Raw was somewhat boring, not bad but I wasn't that excited by it bar a couple of things. Again the idea of Rock and Cena teaming makes sense because it also means they have said what Rock will be doing, rather than just saying "being there" which despite his huge star power, it also makes it clearer, and it means they can have a face off at the end of the PPV to lead to Wrestlemania.

Well they already said that Rock would be wrestling on the show for the first time in 7 years (technically 7.5, but lets not split hairs), which already had me thinking at the end of watching the PPV that we'd end up seeing he and Cena would team up for a match... since them leading opposing Survivor Series teams would actually put them in the ring together to wrestle each other, which is obviously being saved for WM. We'll probably see the stand off between the two of them at the end of the match or the end of the show; but I think it's going to lead to the Rock starting to appear part-time the way that he did leading into Wrestlemania last year. Probably an every 3-4 weeks kind of thing to start off with, and then getting more frequent as we lead into that match.

Oh, and on another note... why in God's name have they completely killed Daniel Bryan? He won MITB, and I don't know if he's won a single match since then... the way he's going now, there's no way he's going to be seen as anything even resembling a legitimate contender for the World Title at Wrestlemania. Then again, maybe that's the point... let him cash it in and then get squashed.

I don't think it's going to be as much a DX reunion as much as HBK getting involved trying to broker a peace between his two best friends.

He'll be the ***SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE*** between Nash and Hunter when they have their 60 minute Iron Man Match at Survivor Series :24:

I think it'll end up being a street fight.... since that's about the only kind of "match" Nash is really capable of at this point. :24:

lol. Nash is still strong as hell though, that was some brute strength the way he lifted that stretcher off the ground, not like HHH was in any position to help him with it.

Yeah, but he barely hit HHH with the jack knife powerbomb on the PPV... he nearly dropped hunter straight on his head.
