I was just answering a question....sorry. I think Zimmerman was over-zealous, I think his actions caused a confrontation that led to the death of an innocent kid and I think he should be held accountable for that. People can argue whether or not the 911 dispatcher gave an opinion or an order but I personally think he should have reported a suspicious person and let the police check him out.

My theory:
Zimmerman notices Martin and begins to follow him in his SUV. Calls 911 to report suspicious person. Zimmerman gets out of his SUV and begins to follow Martin to keep an eye on him. Martin notices Zimmerman following him and begins to move faster. Zimmerman catches up to Martin and words are exchanged. Zimmerman tries to detain Martin for the authorities. A physical fight breaks out between the two. Zimmerman pulls his weapon to hold Martin at gun point. Zimmerman foolishly has his finger on the trigger instead of having it outside of the trigger guard and with the intensity of the situation, accidentally fires a round. Realizing what he has done, Zimmerman decides to go with Self Defense (maybe even fully believing it) to cover the accident.

There are several other threads about this where random commentary and debate is going on. I just wanted one place for those involved in the debate to spell out THEIR version of what exactly they think happened. My goal is is to see exactly what parts of the media presentation of all of this have connected with people and how it has shaped their thoughts on what occurred.

Zimmerman spotted someone acting suspiciously in his opinion
He then called 911 to report it

Although I don't know what happened, if Zimmerman did try to detain Martin, Zimmerman should fry.
Personally I think they were gay lovers having a quarrel, and things got out of hand. I'm surprised the press hasn't played that angle yet.

Here's mine:
A reporter saw a good story and printed it. Bigots came out of the woodwork absolutely convinced that it was a murder based on racial hatred, this opinion completely based on nothing more than the dead person had dark skin. That was all the proof they needed to call for a lynching.

Zimmerman Conspiracy Theorists Anyone?.
Here is allegedly what happened
A young black boy was shot by a fat slob gun happy white man while the young boy was returning back from 7 11 to get some skittles the kid ran when he saw the fat slobs SUV..The slob caught him and shot him.
Everyone is in on it the police, the paramedics, the witnesses ,Oh and yes mastermind Zimmerman who convinced them all to go along with it.
To bust some of these theories it turns out the boy is a athletic young man at the age of 17..And the white slob is actually a mid weight Hispanic...age 28...I guess Zimmerman somehow forgot he wasnt a fat white slob....we dont know yet.
Turns out Zimmerman {the shooter} had called in to authorities as the young man was looking around at units in the gated community in the rain......not lay and wait to slay the first black kid as implied..Busted
The young man began to approach Zimmerman while he was parked and calling it in on his cell phone....thats right.
The young athlete ran and took off...thats right young athlete..not little boy
Zimmerman did not give chase...a little time had elapsed before he exited his vehicle....thats right.
He did not run...he was talking on the phone the entire time he was in contact with communications and never lost a breath...This would have give the young athlete a huge head start...had Zimmerman chased after him.
The theorists cant explain how this middle aged guy darted much later to catch the young athlete who was only a few units from where he was an alleged guest.
As far as I know the 6 million dollar man was just a character on TV and the technology actually never existed to be able to run 60mph
But yet this is what Zimmerman would have had to have been the equivalent of or more to catch the football star.
At some point the 2 meet......Now logic would tell us that the young athlete came to Zimmerman..Since the young athlete bolted off leaving the non athletic middle age guy in the dust....which means he would have turned around and came back...or wait for Zimmerman to appear
Zimmerman gets beat..there are witnesses to verify this..The young athlete gets shot.
The theorists claim everyone is lying from the police to the witnesses to the paramedics and so on.
Mind you..the police wanted to press charges but nothing was filed due to Florida laws...But yet the theorists claim a police cover up.WTH
When it is the DA that wont file.
A video is released after Zimmerman has been cleaned up...and the theorist claim no blood..there wasnt a fight LOL.
A huge ABC logo covers Zimmermans heads at all crucial times of a good view.
Theorists also claim that since Zimmermans dad is a retired judge from a few states away...a favor was turned in.
Now this would require alot of thought and planning in advance..with the paramedics..communications, the witnesses,the police officers.the DA all to be in on it..WTH....I guess it is possible..but I dont buy it.
Now there are 2 experts with new software that claim it was the boy{err young athlete} screaming....maybe it was hell who knows...perhaps he was screaming while he was beating Zimmermans ass lol....but they cant compare it to martins voice as he isnt around.
