thats right...you'll actually have to open her up for some... be sure to get the parts right so you can get to the right manu's for them. I wish I could help more, but I left just as Vista was coming onto the floor, so I got very little to no training on Vista....but like i said Gord should be able to give some light on it, so I'll see if I can catch up with him and I'll ask.:nod::thumbup...won't be until Monday or later though.

LOL no rush! I have been fighting this since May!

I have a full install Vista disc so even if I completely bugger up the works I have that to reinstall.

I got it figured out already: turn back the hands of time, pass over this fucker and look for a dual core already installed with XP!

But since that can't happen I will continue on a search for a HDD utility that recognizes Vista/NTFS/SATA so that I can LLF it.

yeah I heard teh sata driv is the hardest part and first part to find before you go about xping on it. Isn't it sad...fucking microcrap.

No shit, sweetie. I was trying to explain earlier that it was one fuck of a lot easier with the IDE setup where you just slapped in your boot floppy and ran FDISK. Gawd! I could bring a brand new virgin drive up and running windows in half an hour flat. I could run FDISK in my sleep and now look at all the fucking crap you have to go through but the biggest piss-off for me is Vista telling me I can't install an older version of windows! I bought the fucking computer! I's mine and I should be allowed to install anything I want on it - fucking windows ninety-fucking-five if my warped little mind wanted to!! The fucking nerve and audacity of that goddam company!!! How many times can I post this little fucker before I get banned? ---> :mad

ditto i had to reinstall windows yesterday too... i think i had better luck tho, my comp is 4 years and i installed xp in a half hour... but now damn itunes wont install... fck
