Who lives and who dies? Baby or Mother.

I know a lot of you are against abortion for a lot of reasons...and some are for it, also for different reasons. A lot of people think that the fetus is a human-being right from conception and they have that right to life..no matter what. Abortion is basically killing a child and tearing that life away from them.

BUT what if in the delivery room it came down to the choice of life between the mother and child? If you kept the baby the mother dies...if you kept the mother alive the baby dies, basically aborting them, taking them away from a full life.

Which would you choose?

If you're a man, would you choose your wife/girlfriend etc.

If you're a woman would you choose your life or the babies...or what would you want the father of your baby to choose?

Difficult question for sure. If I were lying on the table and knew it was me or the baby.... I'd at least ask them to do whatever it takes to save both of us..... if it actually came down to one or the other..... I'm definitely not ready to die yet.... the baby has never lived outside the womb yet....

I'm just trying to get the point across that in a lot of situations people are against abortion...but when it comes down to this...it makes you think

same with those who are ok with aborting a fetus conceived due to rape. but not for any other reason than health.

one of many reasons why IMO it is the mothers body and what happens is nobody elses business. When you throw in the what ifs then it makes a mess of things.

I don't have that answer. If I were in that situation, then I would have to make a decision.

I'm just thinking of my children right now.... I'd die for them in an instant to save either of their lives.... Without hesitation. I'd give any and all of my organs if they needed them.

I'm Pro-Choice. That's not going to change. It's this particular situation that I can't possibly answer.

Then it's okay to abort when it's just a tiny fetus...b/c it hasn't begun a life.

There are also people on the other extreme who wouldn't consider the life of the baby at all.

In a situation where both lives are at risk, it's up to the mother based on her circumstances.

My personal belief is that the soul doesnt enter the body until it draws its first breath...not that my belief would affect my decision anyway.....
