So you admit there could be monstrous inaccuracies in the bible, then?
What do you believe is organized religion? Do you think going to a church with no hierarchy other than Christ is organized religion? Do you think meeting with other believers to worship the Lord, study His Word, and do His will together is organized religion?I really like this. Although Christian, I believe Organized religion is a problem. It teaches the Chruch's point of veiw, and religion is a PERSONAL relationship to God. There should be not intercessor, no mediator, no checkpoint between you and Jesus/God.
People + getting together to worship their religions = organized religion. What do you believe is organized religion? Intercessors be gone; the curtain was torn for a reason.

That would be more of a discussion if there were several faiths there talking about religion. I'm talking about people of the same belief structure getting together. If the people there have their own, different, views and are discussing them, I don't see that as organised. If the're being told what is and isn't right and how the Bible, Quoran ect should be interpreted, then I see that as organised religion.
Then whats your beef with people going to church? Thats what that is.If they are worshiping their religion instead of God - I absolutely agree with you.
People worshiping God together does not equate to organized religion.
Organized religion is when people follow the Pope, instead of God. It is when they follow Pat Robertson, instead of God. It is when a group of believers listen to some board in another state as to what to do instead of spending time with their Lord and prayerfully with one another. Organized religion is when people are spoonfed the Word of God instead of reading and learning it for themselves and allowing it to change themselves. Organize religion focuses on the wrongs of everyone else instead of focusing on their own wrongs (it starts with self always). Organized religion is when man attaches all kinds of requirements to God's Law that were never meant to be and then tries to hold others to the law when even they themselves can't keep it.
I'm interested in Carthage's answer though, as I already know where you stand AEF.
Nice to see you btw. Long time no see/talk to.
Then whats your beef with people going to church? Thats what that is.
I disagree with organized religion only being people following the pope. Organized religion is simply worship being organized. Which is any gathering of people that want to worship.
We don't have any formal 'joining'.Just interested to know, because of what you said there, Grace. Say, I wanted to come to your church but didn't believe there was any need to be born again in any way, would I still be able to join?
Well the meaning is in the name, isn't it? Organize: People getting together through planning, and religion: worshiping something they all agree on in a religious manner.I don't have a beef with people going church. I do not think that organized religion is only people that follow the Pope. I don't have a beef with anyone. I disagree with organized religion. However, what you view as organized religion is obviously different than what I view as organized religion which is evident in our exchange of words here. No biggie, we disagree on something else. Not surprising. LOL!
You would be welcome. We don't have any 'approval' process.I see, thanks for explaining. Would it be approved of though if someone went but was adamant that they didn't see the need to be reborn in any way?
I'm sure he would have to believe in order to be a long standing member. You would be welcome. We don't have any 'approval' process.
No, as we are not an organized religion.I'm sure he would have to believe in order to be a long standing member.
Yes you are.No, as we are not an organized religion.
Christianity is a form of religion. But there are plenty of Christian churches that are not a part of 'organized' religion, if you know what I mean. Thanks for explaining. I guess in that case I wouldn't see it as organised religion as such but it still sounds like a form of religion to me.
