OK, here's your proof:

1. The Holy Quran is approximately 1,429 years old. 1,429 years ago, we did not have the technology we have today, so we didn't know what we know today. In the Quran, God described many scientific, mathematical, and historical information that no one could have known at that time. If you want a describtion of that information which was in the Quran, then go on: Miracles of the Qur'an - Modern Science Reveals New Miracles of the Qur'an

2. The Holy Quran is perfect. There isn't one scientific fact in the Holy Quran that has been proven wrong by science. As modern science is expanding and discovering new things, it's backing up the facts in the Holy Quran. Also, there are no literary mistakes what so ever in the Holy Quran.

3. No one can produce a work like the Holy Quran. You see, if it was the word of man, then people could have produced something like it, but it's the word of God.

From the literary point of view, the Koran is regarded as a specimen of the purest Arabic, written on half poetry and half prose. It has been said that in some cases grammarians have adopted their rules to agree with certain phrases and expressions used in it, and that though several attempts have been made to produce a work equal to it as far elegant writing is concerned, none has as yet succeeded.245

I believe in the Holy Quran with all of my soul, brain, and heart. I studied the existance of God, and I came to conclude that there is a God. Then I had to chose a right religion that's peaceful and 100% accurate, thus I converted to Islam. When you look at it from all sides, you can easily find out that there is a God because everything leads to Gods existance. I believe in heaven and I believe in hell. Heaven to reward those who followed the right path on this earth, and hell for those who committed crimes like Hitler, Saddam, Binladen, etc. God won't send humans to hell if they made a mistake, God will send humans to hell if they committed unforgivable crimes. Once I asked for Gods help, He gave me guidance and lead me to the right path. God is all wise, all merciful, and all forgiving.
Predictions? Predictions are very easy to make and sound right at the same time. You just have to make them vague. Nostradomus did this all the time. Making predictions is basically like shooting an arrow, and where it lands you paint a bullseye around it, you know? The thing about predictions is, is that its allllll up to Point of view and interpritation, and therefore are releative in nature, and not objective truth.

You keep making broad, general statements, and then try backing them up with "well its a really old book and no one can find flaws in it". I bet I can read an old version of Lord of the rings and not find a single grammatical or plot flaw as well. You see, just because something is written very well, doesn't mean it is TRUTH. Notice how all religions say they are the way, or they offer supreme truth? Its because all religion, is simply a culture's groundwork for their ethics and morality. OUR WAY IS BEST, AND OUR BOOK HAS THE TRUTH! yadda yadda yadda, its all the same.

No. 3 is a terrible "proof". I've read the Koran, if you want to know, and its not that great of a read. I can point to a whole list of ancient authors who wrote 10X's better. So, the whole argument of "man can't write this!" is bunk. I can also point to various prose and poetics that put the koran to shame.

You know what I find is amazing? How everyone in their various religions, beliefs (whether religious, atheist or whatever) firmly believes that their way is the best, their book is the best, their beliefs are the best----->and everyone else is wrong.

Isn't it ironic?

Well, its mostly just conditioning from an early age.

Science is different and should be kept totally separate of spirituality and religion, though. Science works on testable things, things that can be proven.

They aren't all predictions. The Holy Quran gave scientific and mathematical facts, and some predictions. You say that Nostradomus made predictions, but were all his true? Half his stuff is BS.

Well, that's just something to show that the Quran is the word of God because it is perfect, without any mistakes.

You know, that's really interesting. I thought about this before, when I was an Athiest...It led me to study religion because I wanted to see what they were so sure about. Turns out that Islam is the religion that holds the truth.

You've read the English version right? The translators tried to make the English version of the Holy Quran as the same as the Arabic version but that was as close as the could get. The Arabic version is the one that none can dupilcate. I listened to Arabic books and to the Holy Quran; The Arabic books were no match to the poetry and rhythm of the Holy Quran. Even though I can't really understand it, I found a difference. There have been many attempts from Arabic scholars at duplicating it, but none succeeded. Please point out those poetics who supposedly put the Holy Quran to shame.

Why do you believe so ferverently in a book that you obviously havent read and need to ask your Dad about?
I read most of it, but I listened to the rest.
repped, PP! Nice!!!

Valiant effort Temperamental.
Sorry to give you the bad news...buuuut......
You'll never win.
You'll never be able to convince the ole AEF. :D
I shall not be defeated!:ninja
AEF doesn't believe in God, you believe in the Prophets, I believe in the Messiah (Jesus).

There will be no winner and no loser, just ongoing (and to this end) mindless discussion.

In order for AEF to become a Believer, he will need to have something unexplainable happen to him: aka a miracle. And maybe not even then. Some with hardened hearts come around, some don't.

If he's converted as the result of a typed discussion in an IMB, he's soft of mind. And he's not soft of mind, I'll hand that to him.

Now, before you go off and think I've handed you out a compliment, aef, I just mean you're hard-headed. ;)

Tru dat, he's def no softie. Hard nut to crack that. The AEF is a relentless one.

Young Temp and Carthage are putting up a valiant effort trying to match the AEF but he is a formidable opponent. They will learn. :D

When people recognize that I'm 100% correct on everything I have said in this thread, things will be a lot easier. ;)

LOL AEF. gotta love ya. You're one persistent worker bee. Give Jack his jacket.

If you're wrong you're going straight to hell no questions asked. Express train...one way ticket. :D
