Because when I spoke of water boarding as being torture, I quoted who I was responding to and it was not you. Later when I said your response was "idiotic", which it was, I had quoted you. In a forum like this, usually when someone is quoted, the response is being directed at them. Yes, there are exceptions. Maybe you misinterpreted what was happening, but your response to me was misdirected or it was idiotic. Go back and read it again.

Listen, I'm happy to criticize my country. I think the U.S. has made huge mistakes in the Middle East. However, if you make a post saying that the U.S. is turning into a feudal state, and while I may agree with you on some level, I have a right to call you on your countries mistreatment of women. They are living a glorified feudal existence at the hands of men. If you reply with some bogus response that your countries treatment of women is fair, then I can strenuously disagree with you, can't I? And if I think you are here just to throw shit at the U.S. but are not willing to discuss your own countries short comings well then, you are not being fair. Don't complain when your threads go no where.

If you've read the post you will find the answer to your question. I never denied that there is no crime in my country but your attributing to Muslims is just horrific ...against which I protest.

Again I tell you that it's America which makes a news.....because America is currently a word leader or as some one call it The Big Guy in school!!

I agree. Yes I do not think torture is justified but if it involved getting information to save a loved one then I think most people would do it. :nod:
