You can get cholesterol from vegetables, grains and so on. Of course we need cholesterol, but meat just gives us more of it.Very balanced and educated post. Key word used here is 'usable proteins'
Humans need cholesterol and fat in their diets.
I don't understand why this thread is turning into an argument or why AEF seems to be getting such a defensive attitude.
I don't think anyone is saying being a vegetarian is wrong. People are just answering the OP question and giving their experiences on the issue and what they have found though that experience and/or education.
Take what you like and leave the rest.
