lol I can't believe I'm making you so frustrated by not even trying to make you frustrated.

I'm not frustrated. I was briefly the other day, but I'm over it. I just don't see any point in trying to communicate anymore.

Have fun trying to convince everybody that thousands of years of world tradition, and hundreds of years of American tradition are all fragments of our collective uneducated imaginations.
What else can I say?

forget about the history of the founding fathers. they envisioned us as a nation of farmers never getting involved with europe anyway.

i think we need separation of church and state, specifically keeping religion out of our government, now more than ever. i feel uncomfortable with bush's open religous remarks while being the aggressor against islamic nations that claim we're a christian nation fighting their islamic beliefs. would it kill us to be more secular? or at least elect a secular president?

They think we're fighting Islam because they've been brainwashed their entire lives to hate America. I don't think Bush's religion has as much of an impact as decades of propaganda. And, with America being the free country that it is, why would you ask or expect somebody to ignore/deny their religion to get elected to office?

Its not that hard to understand. Humans are naturally superstitious. It bridges to all cultures and regions of the world due to our imaginative subconsciousnesses.

it takes two to tango, and i while i can't say bush did it all, i think the religous remarks have fueled the fire in the middle eastern hatred of america. they certainly aren't helping all those 'brainwashed people' have any more faith in us not forcing our beliefs on them.

i don't think it's proper to ride on the backs of the bible belt. that's my opinion, and certainly isn't grounds to stop someone from doing it to get elected. free country.

BUT we're not talking about bushy getting elected, we're talking about bush making openly religous statements painting america as a christian nation in a religously sensitive time. i'm asking somebody to ignore their religion in regards to america so we don't piss off the terrorists that say we're forcing our beliefs on them. it makes it seem like they're right.

I kinda see where you're coming from, but anybody who knows anything about America knows we're extremely diverse/tolerant religiously. The only reason these fanatics don't know that is because they aren't allowed to know that. If you showed them a mosque in America, I bet they'd shit their pants!

They're not that stupid. Most of the high level leaders of these groups have lived and or studied in America. They know what its like over here.

High level, yes. The ones blowing themselves up everyday, no.

I still wouldn't call them ignorant of the world around them. They have TV's and radios just like us. Plus they may have family members living here, or have come here for visits, college etc etc.

Their TVs and radios are controlled by the goverments, which really don't like us. How much of the truth are they really getting?

Not much, but I was referring to the other post where he said that Muslims would shit their pants if they knew a mosuqe was in America.

The point still stands. They could be told that we have them and that's where we go to round up Muslims to take them to slaughter. You never really know what they're being told and to what extent these people believe in it.

America has used terrorism in the past and even present.

We trained and funded and used CIA operatives with Al-Queda to fight against the Russians for one example.
