He was the Tag Champion with Kofi Kingston but has been suspended twice due to a welness violation (basically taking drugs), once more and he's fired.

A sad thing about Ron Simmons going into the HOF is that some people only remember him as the guy who said "DAMN" at random intervals, or the guy who was one half of the APA. He did a lot of work for black wrestlers and it's him that they should thank a lot for the direction they were able to take. Very much deserved this.

I honestly didn't know who Ron Simmons was until right now, I heard he got enducted but I just thought he was a random person. :\ Guess I should read more of the pedia more often.

Back when I used to watch wrestling Ron Simmons was Faarooq and was leading The Nation of Domination! That's how long it's been for me.

I remember Him best from the Nation of Domination and the APA as well, his career before that was before my time.

Another strong Raw tonight. The two main angles delivered again at the beginning and the end. Jericho/Punk could so easily have turned into a oneupsmanship contest but it didn't because it was great talking and both played their roles excellently. Rock/Cena was excellent too. The rest wasn't too bad either which is good.

Shawn Michaels next week too, I'd assume he'll talk to Undertaker this time.

Just started watching RAW... damn it's been good to have Jericho back. The promo between he and Punk was spectacular... and some of the best stuff I've seen in a long time. I'm really looking forward to Wrestlemania right now... it's shaping up to be damn good.

It'll either be Santino vs Otunga or a big tag match (Santino/Kofi/Truth vs Otunga/Two other heels) and the winning team wins the corresponding GM full control of Raw and Smackdown.

The Rock was entertaining as always. Jericho Vs Punk is pretty much guaranteed to be match of the year, HHH Vs Undertaker should be good too, I'm actually excited for this year's wrestlemania.

That's kinda what I was thinking... a bigger tag match in order to put more people on the WM card.

There are at least two MOTY candidates on the card in Punk/Jericho and HHH/Undertaker. Bryan/Sheamus has the potential to be a pretty good match, even though I'm not a fan of Sheamus getting the belt.

I watched the Jericho/Punk promo again, and it ruled. But one thing did occur to me....this wouldn't have been this good two months ago, because silent Jericho needed to come across to the fans to build this up. Remember when he came back he didn't speak properly for 3 weeks, and even then it was only a sentence. Which is why I think I'm enjoying it more because Jericho has been built up to deliver that promo for a few weeks, as has Punk with him, and it's turned into perfect face/heel psychology. It's hitting at the right time too because this is of course the Wrestlemania run-in, but it's taken silent Jericho to get here, had he come in straight away and spoken and done this Punk feud right away, I think people might have lost interest by now and maybe dumped it for something else, but this build has been awesome. And I'm pretty sure it'll be the best match on the card when we're sat here in a month looknig back on it, because it's Punk vs Jericho. Triple H vs Undertaker will be good too, as will Bryan vs Sheamus, though I'm not that that bothered about that match, despite being a fan of both men. In a weird sort of way I don't mind this Eve storyline, and it's got heat because Zack's thta popular, where it actually goes I'm not too sure, but it's not making me hate it at this time. Kane's run-in was a little weird because it was just exactly that, a random run-in where he attacked who was there, rather than having a specific target, but that should come, I hope so anyway. Wrestlemania's certainly looking good up to now and I'm pretty sure it'll deliver.

Something tells me that Jericho had a whole helluva lot to do with his return storyline and how to handle it. Lord knows that if creative was handling it, he would've come back, challenged CM Punk and been champion by the end of his first night back.

No but for some reason he's been managing to pull out these great matches for years, I'm not so sure it'll be one of the truly great matches but it'll be good at least.

He's barely wrestled outside of Wrestlemania for the last three years, and yet he had two MOTY's with HBK (granted, HBK had five straight before their two matches). Then his match with HHH last year would've been the 2011 MOTY if not for Punk/Cena at Money in the Bank.
