I'd say the PPV was generally above average. Dolph vs Morrison was very good, expected from both men really. Beth vs Eve was crap apart from the finish, which was pretty clever. The traditional Survivor Series match should have been better but wasn't bad. Mark Henry vs Big Show wasn't too good. The elbow drop was cool but the finish sucked. Del Rio vs Punk was very enjoyable, again to be expected from both men. Rock/Cena vs Miz/Truth was above avrage, Rock was the star of the match obviously. The video that accompanied this match was very good indeed. Raw was a good follow up, Much better than recent weeks anyway. The matches had good logical finishes and the feuds were nicely pushed. Kane return promo too I saw. The end was interesting with the (looks like it) split between Miz and Truth. Not the worst idea as both men can be very good singles guys. They should just book the feud heel vs heel as neither man needs to be booked as a face.Edit : Here's the "it begins" promo. Whoever it is (probably Undertaker or Jericho) will (re)debut on 2nd January 2012.

Agreed.

Air Show was fucking awesome though. I'd say that the PPV was meh in general to be honest.

lol the fans were hating the match right up to that point, they went BALLISTIC when Big Show dropped the elbow. I liked the ending of the match honestly, I think everyone is sick of the Big Show/Mark Henry feud, it needed to end IMO, Mark Henry will be gone for a while and they'll pick up the feud after a few months probably. I just kinda skimmed through the Ziggler/Morrison match as I'm not really a fan of either guy. Punk/Del Rio was good, I was kinda surprised that Punk won it, though I think he's a way more interesting champion. Main event was a letdown to me, it was pretty much just Rock beating Miz and Truth from pillar to post, I would have liked for it to be a better more competitive match than that, but I doubt that The Rock would even be willing to let Miz or Truth look good at his expense, and I guess they're trying to build up more interest for Rock/Cena at Wrestlemania so I kinda get it, but still I think they could have done more with that match. Haven't watched RAW yet, I'm gonna sit down and watch it in about 20 minutes, I'll post my commentary here as I watch it lol

RAW was better last night than it had been in the last month or so. I hated how they hot shotted the Miz/Truth split, and how all it took was one comment by Cena to do it. It made sense to do, but not that quickly IMO. But that's a typical WWE creative move to move things along far faster than they should. On the other hand, they're drawing out the Nash/HHH stuff for a long time... Almost too long.

In the right way department though, I'm actually a big fan of how they're building Ryder up through fan support and almost a grassroots movement.

Truth's been suspended for 30 days, hence the hotshot. They'll play it off as an injury angle and then have the Miz/Truth feud after he comes back.

Well that explains that then. I don't keep up on that end of the business anymore. Just found out that Bourne was suspended for 30 days after I wondered if he was injured since he hasn't been on RAW and Kofi has been doing singles stuff.

I'd like to suggest a WWE v TNA rational who is best by title. :thumbup

Main Title - Alberto de Rio v Bobby Roode - no contest for me here, Bobby Roode WWE 0 TNA 1
Secondary title USv TV title - Dolph Ziggler v Robbie E - both have shit gimmicks, very tight but I go for Robbie E here as he is a good wrester despite that - WWE 0 TNA 2
Tag Teams - Air Boom v Morgan and Crimson - easy WWE win here! - WWE 1 TNA 2
Womens Championship - Beth Phonix v Gail Kim - Beth is one of only a couple of WWE womens wrestlers who is any good but Gail Kim is far better - WWE 1 TNA 3
Womens tag team - No one v Rayne/ Kim - erm easy - WWE 1 TNA 4
Cruiserweights - No one v Austin Aries - still no contest but TNA would win even if WWE could put someone up but they haven't t - no point arguing it - WWE 1 TNA 5

Easy victory for TNA.

Love to here others views on this basis.:thumbup

You've basically compared RAW to TNA... because Mark Henry is the World Heavyweight Champion and Cody Rhodes is the Intercontinental Champion. Also, del Rio isn't the WWE Champion any longer, CM Punk is. Past that, I don't think it's really fair to count wins against titles that don't exist.

WWE vs. World vs. TNA Championship
CM Punk by a landslide.

WWE - 1
TNA - 0

Intercontinental vs. US vs. TV
Cody Rhodes... he's got a much better gimmick than the other two, and I really like how they've moved him along from the bag and mask gimmick.

WWE - 2
TNA - 0

Tag Titles
Air Boom

WWE - 3
TNA - 0

Women's Championship
Gail Kim

WWE - 3
TNA - 1

Cruiserweight
I'll just give TNA another win here... but, I disagree that TNA would win if WWE still had their Cruiserweight belt. I like Aries... but Bourne, Kofi, Sin Cara, Hunico, or Gabriel would all give him a run for his money.

WWE - 3
TNA - 2

TNA IMO has easily the best roster of wrestlers, but they have stupid gimmicks and shitty storylines, WWE even with it's inferior roster is still better than TNA.

Sin Cara is going to be out for a LONG time with the injury he suffered at Survivor Series.

Good to see that you, even a stuanch WWE fan give TNA the credit for having a decent womens and cruiserweight division, just wonder where your womens tag team title comparison is in there before you give it 3-2 to WWE. ;)

I already said that I didn't think it was particularly "fair" to count a belt against one that doesn't exist. So I'm pretending that the Women's Tag Titles don't exist. :p

I didn't catch the injury he had to be honest... I was watching a stream and it was chopping in and out. What happened?

He botched a dive over the top rope and ruptured his patellar tendon, it could keep him out of action for as long as 9 months.

Not valid, I wasn't comparing this to fueds going on ect, only on belts, if you want to take part, do it properly. At the moment it looks glaringly like you missed that one out because you couldn't bare to see WWE drawing with TNA in any way. :p

So... Morrison is gone, and the second "It Begins 2012" video was also released. Only about halfway through RAW as I'm posting this.

Video #1

Video#2

It looks like it could be Undertaker... but the content and verbiage makes me think Jericho. There's a girl in the video too though... Shane and Stephanie? :24: The style of the video makes me think of Raven and Sting as well, but I'm about 99.9% certain that isn't the case. I would consider Kane, but he's got his own video packages around already. The last time we saw viral stuff like this was when Jericho came back the first time. The reason the content makes me think Jericho is because that's what some of the Fozzy stuff coming out has been about. Plus, Fozzy looks to be done touring for the time being as well. Then there's the fact that just two weeks ago, he said that his wrestling career is over... y'know, cause Jericho hasn't ever been known to work the fans. :24:
