The Official WWE/TNA thread

Yeah, but he barely hit HHH with the jack knife powerbomb on the PPV... he nearly dropped hunter straight on his head.

Yeah, that jack knife was BAD, looked like Hunter definitely took a bad landing, glad he wasn't injured. Speaking of the PPV, Big Show and Mark Henry really went above and beyond to put on a good match, the ring collapse was predictable though.

It's something of an irony that Big Show seems always to be involved in these ring collapses/hole in the ring things. the exact thing happened with Brock in 2003. In 2005 he chokeslammed JBL through the ring at No Way Out, and in 1999 he chokeslammed Undertaker through the ring.

Yeah it's to the point that you see it coming a mile away now, as soon as Henry started to set up the superplex I just thought "Ring's gonna collapse. Meh." Other than the predictable end though it was a good match considering who was putting it on. I'm so fucking sick of Michael Cole, I hope they just fucking get rid of the guy forever. Oh and I gotta say I love R Truth as a heel, guy fucking HILARIOUS with this role.

I'll gladly take the Muppets over the shit that TNA throws out there.

So when you watch wrestling, you'd rather watch some lame skits of wrestlers with the muppets than the greatest tag team today in an awesome match against each other?:humm: I guess WWE with their PG show for kids and attempts to distance themselves from even using the word wrestling is definately the show for you.

You act like it's every week. TNA have the ability to have a very good feud between Storm and Roode, yet they still have Hogan and Bischoff, who it's well known should have stepped away long ago. Yeah WWE had the muppets, but it was one show, and that didn't do Jay Leno any harm either when they were on there, bought them publicity see. I'd rather watch one show with the muppets on than a few weeks of Jersey Shore on TNA, the most retarded show in TV history.

This. Even with WWE's product being down again right now as compared to the Punk angle this summer, it's still infinitely more entertaining than TNA has been in years. I tried to watch an episode of Impact the other day and I had to turn it off after about 20 minutes.

The best wrestling was late 80's NWA, with the Flair/Steamboat stuff. People forget WCW didn't come up with a lot of original stuff then, like Wargames and the Bash itself (Which started out as a tour thing across America). The best wrestlnig year was WWF in 1997, from about March, it could do no wrong.
